- I'm back with another aquarium tour, this time in Zhuhai China! A massive theme park Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. It cost a reported US$5 billion to build. It features the world's biggest aquarium recognized by Guinness World Records! It showcases what it claims is the world's longest roller coaster. And it boasts a massive collection of whales, sharks and animals rarely, if ever, seen in captivity in China.

The difference between seals and sea lions is that sea lions have ears while seals don’t, sea lions are a lot less timid as well and I think a bit smarter to. I think there might be a difference with there feet and paws but idk fs. Awesome vid to!

Seals have very short flippers, they cannot stand upright as sea-lions do.

Seals and sea lions most consistent difference is the structure of the rear legs. Sea lions have a different gait as they have adapted to a more coastal niche, seals are unable to tuck their back feet/flippers underneath them and "run" like sea lions.
The visible ear is only appicable in some species! It isnt an apt generalisation
Theyre both extremely smart and social, they kept their smarts from their bear ancestors ☆♡☆♡

hey did you know in order to house a great white shark comfortably you would need a 284,379,428,571 gallon tank 1000 ft in height, 800 ft in width, 47520 ft in length, and 984ft in dept
This is literally the only reason I'd want to visit China.

Do they not have any problems with fish/sharks/etc eating each other?
most likely the fish are fed pretty well in the aquariums so they won't need to resort to hunting other fish like they do in the wild when food isn't just fed to them
There’s a great doc on building the worlds largest aquarium however idk if it’s bigger than this one, but it’s the one they built in France with specialty pipes n stuff. Superrr fascinating and they go over that part of your question

but really no the chiming aquarium had biggest of all aquarium of whale shark ove 200,000 animals
its to small for whale sharks to be honest. whale sharks travel 1000s of kilometres in their lifetime but now they're limited to a tank.
very sad alot of the creatures living in tiny spaces, to be gawked at by so many people.,the bears in artifical rocks, no trees or grass.

The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta is far superior to this aquarium: much cleaner, more walkable, and way more animals. What I like most about the Georgia aquarium is the natural environments in which the animals inhabit; instead of just water & glass like Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, the animals actually have reefs to live in, along with sand and seaweed. Bigger doesn't always mean better, as we can clearly see in this video.
