@SDMacMan reminded me that I failed to mention lubrication of the turret bushing. Redding recommends gun oil on all moving parts, but I use mineral oil. Just a smear on the bushing is all that is needed as well as on the top of the turret just where the big bolt rides. I forgot to mention that in the video! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
The working life of the presses and associated equipment can be extended with some minor TLC once in a while, older equipment can quite often be brought back to working order as well. Good info.
Morning Walter, Great Video! I was getting ready to do my maintenance on my T7 this weekend.Lots of good tips on your video. You are so right on the Creedmoor Kit. I put one on a couple of years ago and like you said it is now smooth and tight. Also, I love hearing the sounds of freedom fly over your house.🇺🇸
Great video Walter!!!!! Every machine needs to have regular maintenance done if you want it to last. That upgrade kit looks like it did it's job well. Thanks, I always learn something. Take care my friend
@@jesseboutdoors Hiya, Jesse. Thanks for checking in. These danged T7’s are great, but have become quite expensive. Keep your eyes out on the used market! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
@@SDMacMan hi. Good catch! Thanks. a very light amount on the bushing. Redding recommends gun oil on all moving parts, I use mineral oil. The fitment of the bushing is very precise so you don’t need much. I forgot to mention that. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸

Awesome Walter.
Maintaince is not something many do. But its real important if you want to continue extended use. ❤❤❤

Nice job Mr Walter. I'm just wondering if you put any grease on the turret bushing or if it calls for it. I know I would have. Happy reloading.
