He's honestly one of the best reactors out there. He pays attention, rewinds parts he talks over (or just rewinds to see things again), and in general the production value is high.
Yeah I just watched some of his music reactions to the soundtrack for this show but this episode reaction is unironically better than most reactor content out there, not too dull or boring, not too overblown or fake.

Crows are a symbol of a number of things, death, but in this show, change. Jinx keep shooting crows wherever they appear around her, showing that she is denying change, up until the final moment when she sits in a chair decorated in crow feathers, showing she has accepted change, showing she has accepting becoming Jinx.
Crows/Ravens do also represent a certain Noxian champion who may or may not be responsible for killing Mel's brother and would have vested interest in Piltover and Zauns weaponry...

@@TheOpqu oh pls let fiddlesticks come to arcane, I want him so fucking badly to just go insane and kill everything. Would love to see how they deal with that problem.
@@ericlin2611 yeah, I also doubt that the ravens are swain watching… yet. We do need to remember that apparently all fiddlesticks siblings utilize the ravens as a symbol. Raum, the demon that makes a pact with swain, could be watching. I mean, I’m just rambling at this point, since we do know that arcane and league have somewhat different lores, but Swain has a certain interaction with jinx that is related to the explosion in episode 3. Maybe raum was watching since the begging. That would be a awesome setup for a noxus related series where the main plots are around Swain’s rise to power, darius and draven, but also have, just like arcane sprinkles ravens at every episode, maybe a black rose could cement ground for a third season of said noxus show in a diplomatic articulation between leblanc and swain.
when the mother says she banished Mel because "she weakened her" actually has more meaning that it seems. In Noxus lore, anyone can be a Noxian, you don't have to be a blood born Noxian, but you need to be strong and ruthless. Any general from Noxus that shows any kind of weakness can be murdered by the same people they´re with and take their place, and the king will accept it by law.
But even without that context it still makes sense. She couldn't make the cruel decisions she needed to to because her own daughter saw her as a monster and that made her feel terrible (I guess).
You're right about the basis for the Noxian power structure, but it doesn't invalidate the hypocrisy of Mel's Mother. She banished her daughter because it made her 'weak' but has no problem coming back to her only when it suits her own agenda. The 'you weakened me' bit is nothing more than an excuse. If Jayce never harnessed Hextech, you think Mel's Mother would have even bothered to show her face? I doubt it.
@@zzyzx_001 is it hypocritical? She has shown time and time again that she is going for power and will do everything she needs to obtain more. Her coming to piltover was just for that. Power to stand up to someone very powerful (most likely swain purging the nobility in noxus). In mel's flashbacks she explicitly says this. Medarda is many things, but she owns them all
0:25 first he predicted Jayce sextech now he predicts silco... Is that why they call him lucky boy? 6:24 So this is what Joey is always busy doing. What a beat though
I felt like Silco would die from episode 3. I didn't know how he would die, but he definitely was going to because 1. It would give Jinx character development 2. He's the villain, so it makes sense 3. He's my favorite character (who isn't a LoL champ), so obviously life can't be nice for ONE FUCKING TIME- (But seriously though, as sad as his death was, it made total sense, and I'd rather have him die like this than for the writers to possibly fuck up his character in the next season)
Seriously. I love that. Did you get a "Why's the Rum Gone? Remix" vibes from this? vibe from it. I really think someone should put together something similar for Arcane.

@@zehndermenix213 yeah she looked really young, they normally make 11 to 12 year olds look and act really young but in reality they are much more mature
she actually wasnt trying to love her as jinx. She was trying to love her as powder. While silco loved jinx as jinx. Thats why he told her youre perfect. Vi wants jinx to change back to the little girl she use to be? Well she changed. This is why everyone liked silco.
@@hallephrodrigues8287 Vi wasn't exactly helping with trying to get her over those tho, she doesn't understand her as Jinx yet, and so she can't know how exactly to help her - especially when she herself is still clinging to the past (granted if things went differently, maybe they could've helped each other - in a perfect world they could turn out fine in the end). Both of them couldn't accept the change, and the ending finally portrayed that acceptance.
Silco used to say Jinx is perfect, but in the end he said you're perfect, because he accepts her as a whole, well, also knowing that him dying is equivalent to him making the decision for Jinx to choose Jinx instead of powder. (idk if that made sense) Jinx wanted Vi to choose the seat for her because she couldn't do it herself, but Vi kept reminding her of all the traumas, Silco sees that Jinx was suffering, and that's why he shot at Vi (well she dodged it) to make her shut up, then Jinx reactively fired from where she heard the shot from. I mean if anything, Jinx loved her sister more than Silco until this last dinner, she even thought Silco was gonna forsake her, she misunderstood it when he said "is there anything so undoing as a daughter," the ptsd in her took over and she went to the protective mode where she thinks she needs to get out of it first before she gets left behind again. Silco was just always there for Jinx, and she finally realized this father really loved her with all his heart. idk man this series is full of misunderstanding, but i gotta say, we watch from a perspective different from theirs, and i feel like most (if not all) the characters are making the best decisions that can with the information they know, well under circumstances which they have no control over. i love all the characters because they're all complicated like an actual human being, and not just a tool to play out the plots.
She didn't get the chance to try loving her tho. She was locked up for years, then when she was released Silco tried to kill her without telling Jinx because he's obsessed with her. Then, when she saw her sister again she was completely different, turned into a killer, and still, Vi was willing to be with her. In my opinion, in this whole show Vi was the only one who truly loved Jinx from the beginning for no reason but loving her. Besides, not wanting the person you love to be a cold blooded killer, is not a bad thing. She accepted Powder/Jinx with all her flaws, but being a psycho (or whatever mental disorder she had) is not a flaw, but something Jinx needs help with, not a person who indulges and pushes her even further into normalizing that type of behavior. I hope both sisters find a way of dealing with all the trauma and coping with it somehow.. I just want them both to be ok T_T
@@TaekookEditsSBL im sorry i am two months late lol but i need to write smth about your comment. firstly yes Jinx changed to a killer. but it was Vis fault that even happened. yes i know vi tried to come back... marcus... blah blah blah.. but it was VI who slapped Powder Vi who went away and Vi to call her a Jinx and say mylo was right... not marcus. then... Vi was absolutely not willing to be with her. over the entire show Vi talked about being able to change her. even when multiple ppl and even ekko said she is too far Vi kept saying she can change her., so no she doesnt accept her. but she is trying to stand up for the mistake she did ''then a real monster showed up n i just ran away''. third point. Vi was exactly that person not loving Jinx. she hates her sister being like that and tries to force the old self back. i agree with you that its not bad you dobnt want a person you love to be like that because its true 100%. but its not about Vi not liking it. its about vi crossing lines, forcing and trying to drag her will though no matter what the cost is. even irf it means silcos death. thern is from an psychological view killing a flaw IF the person has no real choice or doesnt really understand why she does. Jinx has PTSD on 3 different things. enforcers, Vi, abandonment. Jinx kills rutheless because she is afraid is reason 1. she is scared of enforcers. ''we played that we were monsters.. up until i imagined such a big monster that my sister got afraid. i pretended to make the monsters go away and say '' no monster is ever gonna hurt you when i am here'' '' Jinx sees Enforcers as monsters. every of them. thats why on the bridge Jinx saw cait with horns and an evil smile. but why does she attack firelights? well she has no other choice sinco those attack her not she them. ''needs help not a persaon who ingludes and pushes her even furhter into normalizing that type of behaviour'' yeaaaaa no... Jinx does need that but i can understand your view... but as crazy as it sounds... the enviourment in Zaun is completely different. she has to be merciless ruthless and maybe brutal to survive there. Powder was breaking her. Jinx made her strong. that strengh is important down there. ''you need to let powder die, so your strong just like you ever have meant to be'' is actually 100% sure even tho most people think its not. Alsao the sentence ''youll be with her a day before she realizes you arent that girl anymore and turns her back on you'' is true since Vi hates Jinx and loves powder. Vi would not have been able to change shizophrenia. humans arent capable of that. it doesnt work like this with the Amygdala. if you are traumtized once it wont go away that easy. and as Vi would have understood that she would have gone back to her cupcake which she started to prefer already in ep. 7... Lastly Silco again. he showed in multiple different way that he truly loves Jinx many didnt recognize. Pacing to the bridge with a panicing face seing Jinx hurt. seing the gemstone but ignoring it completely because jinx is hurt. carrying Jinx by himself even tho he got 2 big guards. running all the way alone to Singed to save her. his face when he said ''are you prepared to loose her'' him running to Jinx as she is caughing and sayinf ''she wont die doctor, she cant'' saying a parentlike sentence like that needs love sijnce he showed greediness with it. he accept every hurt she gets to keep her for himself. then being ready to kill Singed after he thought he killed her. looking at Jayce being unprepared to her her name as an expetion to get the eindependent zaun. saying to Vanders statue ''it all makes sense now'' ''i imagined this moment a thousand times, never like this'' meaning he didnt even think about giving her away. then on the seats ''the topsiders offered me everything... independence, a seat on the table all in return for you, THEY CAN ALL BURN'' I said that last words purposely that big because it has a big psychological effect. he shows anger about the condition. and with the power behind the sentence he kinda told Jinx that his priority is that they burn for questioning for Jinx instead of independence. ''i never would have given you to them...not for anything... dont cry... your perfect'' i think i dont need to explain. Silco uses his last breath to tell Jinx how perfect she is that he loved her limitlessly and that she has no fault for his death. that means a lot to humans. mostly people try to stay alive, are angry or do insult people while silco doesnt he dont want to make it look worse then it it and doent want to give her guilt since she already has enough of it. thats all... i hope coud help with psychological and strict views.
It is not a true cliffhanger, playable characters like Jayce and Viktor won't die for sure, they still have a lot of stuff to do by lore, and we can assume what will be the outcome of that attack...
U can see the parallels between Vander and Silco, Vander fought for the cause but couldn’t go on bc of Vi, Silco fought for the cause but couldn’t finish what he started bc of Jinx
The whole series is about parallels and it is so beautiful done. Such as when Viktor couldn't walk as fast as his you ship as a kid but then racing past real ships as an adult. Or how in one scene we see the amazing Firelights foliage in a place something like shouldn't exist, and in the next we see the garden in Piltover killed by Silco and his gas. The series is just so amazing.
That ending ALWAYS gives me chills, without fail. Sting is an amazing singer, and its criminal that I haven't heard of him until Arcane. That last "What could of been" was such a perfect way to end off, can't wait to see the aftermath in season 2!!!

She wanted Vi to love her, like she used to. But instead she loved her like she used to be. She loved the idea of Powder, instead of the current Jinx. Then you contrast that with Silco, who loved Jinx as she was, and needed her as she was, who would always talk to her normally even when she was bouncing around the room or talking to herself or acting strange, but he never once acted like she was strange, never talked down to her, and helped her with her problems in the best way he knew. Whyyyyyy, don't you looove who I ammmmm. Fuck.
How can she love something she didn’t have time getting to know? I think y’all forget Vi was imprisoned for 7 years and Jinx is now a terrorist … why should she accept that?
@@HazelAmarie It's not that she _should_ accept it, but that _is_ what Jinx wanted and Vi couldn't give it because, as you said, why should she? The tragedy is that this was the result of everyone's best efforts and intentions. It's no one person's fault entirely.
Jinx and silco made this show for me. I stan for them. And I’m never ready for it. Seen the video pop up while I’m at work. Not great idea now I’m crying at work
19:08 most people seemed to miss that just because they hate Silco because he's a bad dude. And with how you're always joking around when watching this (nothing is wrong with joking around), I thought you'd miss it too but dang you didn't. Even in Silco's last moment he's assuring her.
Because she pretty much messed up(yet again). Jinx's self-confidence must be completely shot at this point. But Silco's saying she's perfect the way she is.
@@ijuka yeah and additional notes; when Powder accidentally killed her brothers, and contributed to the death of Vander, Vi hit her and 'insulted' her (which is understandable that Vi was mad and sad; who wouldn't ?). And here in the finale she accidentally killed her 'father', her family again, but this time Silco assured her that he loves her and that she's perfect. She made up her mind, she chose to be Jinx and let Powder go for good.
I hear alot about this show hanging on too big a cliffhanger but is it me or is the current ending perfect? The first season is about tensions escalating into chaos due to neglect and jinx and vi's transformations, and that seems pretty wrapped up with the rocket spelling an end to what could have been. The cliffhanger is now who survives and what next now the peace has been shattered, and that's a perfect beginning to the second season for me.
People hate cliffhangers since they pay off little to nothing, and feel agonizing as you wait for the next installment. Cliffhangers can be done really well though, like in Star Wars ESB and Avengers IW, and this show is no different. It opens up way more possibilities for future installments, they don't have to pull a new story out of their ass for a sequel. This ending was masterfully done.
@@codyking643 I noticed I said cliffhangers leave little to nothing resolved, but if a cliffhanger is done right, you can resolve the story you were trying to tell while still setting up the next, which is what Arcane does here.
Yeah it wraps up what it needed to. It wraps up the question of if there could be peace (no, for multiple reasons), it wraps up the Jinx/Powder identity storyline and the Vi/Powder reconciliation storyline, the creating a weapon for silco storyline, Jayce in the council (this was the last thing he was doing as a councilor) etc. You see where all the characters currently are, and it teases what could happen in the future. There's no conclusion you are left waiting for, there's only the aftermath.
"Over one little mistake." Yup. Right there we empathize with both girls. But due to circumstances with Marcus Vi never got to make amends and go for her like she was CLEARLY about to. It shows how impacted words can mean. Even if a mistake in the moment she (jinx) still has one VERY clear last memory of her sister. You never know the last words you'll ever give someone. Live like it
6:20 Ok. I need a full lenght, at least 4 to 5 minutes long, version of this. Like... remember the good old days of "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard" or "Why's the rhum gone"? Something like that, but titled "I'm busy."
I have to admit, i love the way most of all reactors are ending the show. "F**k this show!!!" It's the thing that left me alone after i got emotionally wrecked xD
That dinner scene alone was too perfect. Like I couldn't have set up a better scen for Powder to fully embrace the name Jinx then everything about that scene
"Don't cry. You're perfect!" This line hits hard. It is the best moment in the show imo. When you live your life feeling that you are broken, with people pointing fingers at you over and over and then someone accept you for who you are, showing true love... It is hard to describe. And Jinx just killed that very same person. I can't imagine how hard it is for her.

Loved all your reactions & you made the journey more bearable with your humor. When Jinx said "I thought maybe you could love me like you used to even though I'm different," she meant that when Vi kept looking for Powder, she wasn't accepting Jinx for who she had become. Powder was dead, but Jinx was strong & alive, searching for approval. Silco accepted Jinx, something she'd always wanted. But her own sister kept trying to change who she was while Silco assured her that she was perfect the way she is.
It's so tragic, Jinx only wanted to be loved again by her sister, but her sister only cared for powder, Vi lived in the past when it came to her sister and although that's understandable considering she was in prison the entire time jinx grew up, it meant there was no room for who powder had become. :(
Let's be real here, all Silco and Jinx knew is that they wanted her in return for peace. They have no clue that they were voting for peace, regardless of who was given up, in that tower. So all Jinx knows is that they wanted her head, and Silco just told her he would have never given her up. Therefore the only option left in her mind is all out ANARCHY. Let's go, Jinx! I believe in you! Anarchy! Anarchy!
There's a therapist that does a fantastic break down of their emotions and mental and their youtube is Georgia Dow. I would highly recommend anyone to watch those as even some of the people that worked on the series said she was spot on with character analysis
everything about season 1 is a masterpiece, mostly their charachter in showing how they are the way they are, and its not all black and white, the good guys do some questionable thing, the villain had some heartwarming scene, example is Vander is a human who turn to monster to save his Daughter Vi, resonance with Silco who is a Monster but in the end turn into human to comfort his daughter Jinx with his last breathing moment. very beautifull
I love how everyone does things with their own logic. There is no stupid ball. The best example is how powder overheard milo and vi, and insted of it turning into a misunderstanding cliche like many many shows, vi easily clears it up.

Hehe
F
😭
It's a damn bop tho, ngl. lmao
That beat actually hit though
Sextech
I felt like Silco would die from episode 3. I didn't know how he would die, but he definitely was going to because
1. It would give Jinx character development
2. He's the villain, so it makes sense
3. He's my favorite character (who isn't a LoL champ), so obviously life can't be nice for ONE FUCKING TIME-
(But seriously though, as sad as his death was, it made total sense, and I'd rather have him die like this than for the writers to possibly fuck up his character in the next season)
I guess the ending got him out of his seat
XD
The fact that Joey hears a beat at 6:25 and replays it multiple times is just hilarious!
Seriously. I love that.
Did you get a "Why's the Rum Gone? Remix" vibes from this? vibe from it. I really think someone should put together something similar for Arcane.
I honestly wanted more of that for some reason.
@@Senfree Me too.
I feel ya on getting emotional for the villains death. Crazy good writing.
The funny thing about arcane is that there is no vilain. Everyone has goal and they are working to achieve them
@@samuelbouchard3480 That's a good point...Jinx is probably the closest to a villain.
@@joshrandor4371 Powder was literally a 11 year old criminal during the first 3 episodes and that was normal in undercity the whole drive behind Powder was literally her value to her family as a better criminal. They literally escape to their home in ep1 through a trash shoot Piltover literally dumbs trash under their city were people live....Undercity and Piltover have been in a silent war since the first episodes Jinx just happened to be the person to say it out loud. Wouldn't call her the villain the product of inequality more then anything.
@@walkthebrokenpath0 I thought powder was 7 in the first act.
Yeah, she better stay a crazy killer bit**, of course she`s perfect that way than trying to get over her traumas...
Sting hits hard with what could have been. Amazing yet tragic cliffhanger
Its honestly my favorite track in the series. I went straight to my piano to learn the amazing sounding chords
@@994bob1 Same, I looked up a karaoke and started singing it the best I can.
It is not a true cliffhanger, playable characters like Jayce and Viktor won't die for sure, they still have a lot of stuff to do by lore, and we can assume what will be the outcome of that attack...
“Let me watch that part again so I can be miserable.” 😂 bro I felt that in my soul
That explains why I've been watching arcane reactions for the last few hours instead of sleeping.
6:23 I was not expecting some beat to pop out of no where LOL.
Now make a rap out of it--specifically about this scene 🙌
U can see the parallels between Vander and Silco, Vander fought for the cause but couldn’t go on bc of Vi, Silco fought for the cause but couldn’t finish what he started bc of Jinx
The whole series is about parallels and it is so beautiful done. Such as when Viktor couldn't walk as fast as his you ship as a kid but then racing past real ships as an adult. Or how in one scene we see the amazing Firelights foliage in a place something like shouldn't exist, and in the next we see the garden in Piltover killed by Silco and his gas. The series is just so amazing.
I loved that little beat with the lighter, dusting the chair, and Silco's short line 6:25 , very creative!
6:32
No.... you did NOT JUST DO THAT 🤣
"look at his face, hes pissed" LMAO

I was about to cry while watching the last moments as well as Joey's reaction until 18:54. I burst into laughter.
19:55 she never tried to love Jinx, only to return Powder

Yeah agreed to me this wasn't even a cliff hanger. I think it was the perfect place to end
@@codyking643 I noticed I said cliffhangers leave little to nothing resolved, but if a cliffhanger is done right, you can resolve the story you were trying to tell while still setting up the next, which is what Arcane does here.
People are just overusing the term "cliffhanger".
"Over one little mistake."
Yup. Live like it
"Peace? We dont deal with this shit here LMAO" -Jinx
I gotta say your reactions always feel entertaining and genuine unlike most of the other reactions I see that force it.

17:40 jinx passive in game in adrenaline rush. In game if she kills a champion she gains a burst of movement speed.
she didn't kill anyone to get that. and that's not even the name of the ability

That's what I'm sayin holy hell it caught me off guard, but damn does it slap.
6:30 I swear to god there is always one scene in your reactions that sends me to the ground laughing
It was the Golden Grahams for me 😂
If Vi had ever called her 'Jinx' just once, she might never have become Jinx.
Your edits are epic. 🤣 Always enjoy your reacts. Thanks babe.

The "clean the seat" beat is 🔥
"I'm gonna watch that part again just so I could be miserable" - that's all of us on here trying to relive the moment of first watching that scene 😂
LMAOOOO THE END WAS ME 😭😭
everything about season 1 is a masterpiece, mostly their charachter in showing how they are the way they are, and its not all black and white, the good guys do some questionable thing, the villain had some heartwarming scene, example is Vander is a human who turn to monster to save his Daughter Vi, resonance with Silco who is a Monster but in the end turn into human to comfort his daughter Jinx with his last breathing moment. very beautifull
I love how everyone does things with their own logic. There is no stupid ball. The best example is how powder overheard milo and vi, and insted of it turning into a misunderstanding cliche like many many shows, vi easily clears it up.
Your editing to add flair to the reaction this series has been top notch bro. I could not stop laughing at the sex shit and it has made the reaction so much better
