We use the traffic cone.....cut down a bit...... And dust pan for putting out gravel. Works great!!
You need a short handled shovel with a funnel attached to the side to pour the poo back
I'd bet you could cut a t-wye in half and strap it to the pipe to make it easier. Maybe add a 4x8 reducer as the funnel? Edit: you could also use a plastic "grain scoop" and round the edge to conform to that sewer pipe. That would aid in cleaning the sidewalk area.

I couldn't be a plumber. After getting doused with poo, I would have to go get a shower ASAP! Yuck, couldn't take it.
I felt bad for the neighbors. Washing all the poop down to the grass. Vacuum as you clear will be better in that situation. It was concrete. Would have been less messy. Great paid job Gavin. 👊👍💪👊☺️

I asked my plumber this. He enters through the garage. Strips down, throws his work clothes in a dedicated washing machine. Goes inside to the bathroom right there and takes a shower.

Hear I am Number one viewer that's a first in years of viewing Right up Gavin just brilliant ,mate Look at all of that porridge low flow toilets cause a lot of these problems
Now THAT was a "blocked drain"!
I use a holesaw with a clear bowl, it was made for cutting holes in ceilings and catching all the dust, that would keep you from getting splashed, and yes, a traffic cone makes a great funnel, although I would use the muck sucker for that, it's powered from the hose you already have there, mixes water to make it thinner and the discharge hose would fit right back in the drain line.
Ollie uses a decapitated "witch's hat" as a funnel. A dog food scoop would also work well. We don't know if the low-flow-loos are the problem, though. A bit of care by the user can make a big difference.

Buy powerful but small battery powered wet vac that has a the threaded drain outlet on the bottom. Get a drain hose for it, put the hose into the pipe. Use the sucker end to vacuum up the shit with a little extra fluid from your jetter. You can mount some anchors to the side handles of the vac and hang it from the pipe.
Gavin, that clog was the biggest toilet dump in the history of mankind. No wonder it was clogged. You are the king of fishing for brown trout! Don't you have some kind of scoop instead of using your hands? This video proves my favorite quote "excretia occurs "

here's an idea to play with.... cut a T-wye in half and strap it to the outside of the drainpipe with a bungee cord. Extend the wye with a 4x8 (100 x 200) reducer to make a funnel. Get a plastic grain / feed scoop (giant sugar scoop) and use that to clean the sidewalk. Alternatively, round that scoop to fit tight against the drainpipe and just tip the waste into the opening. (Amazon has them $10 - $20)

LOL You probably dont get paid enough. LOL You need to charge more. What you need is a dust pan and a funnel. Try Bunnings. Gavin goes running into the street screaming "I'll never be clean again!" awesome job.
It's not for the faint of heart - you should double-back for that, then you can buy a small shovel to send the poo back into the pipe

Your next Ute needs to have a shower head on it to rinse off. You could rig up an extendable shower head off the back and plug it into the jetter feed, with a pressure regulator of course.

A 8 1/2 x 11 thick plasticized sheet of paper, have 1, I got 1. its usually produced as a commercial instructions or advertisement. You can scoop it up then make a funnel,and the poop slides ou,t good luck mate

A quick comment. I watch your vids from time to time and I notice the channel is not growing like I think it should. I wonder why? I offer this suggestion. Keep it interesting. This video in particular, you spent the first 17:14 cutting into the drain pipe. That should have been a 60 second clip at most. Keep your audience engaged. Keep it moving. Keep it interesting and the audience wanting more. Please take this constructively as that is how I mean it. Best of luck and keep on keeping on.

Gavin i do not know how much you charge so i wouldn't know if you are getting paid enough for it lol . Also that the first time i have seen that releasing the water slowly out of the pipe . All the others is drill a hole and gush it goes all over the place including them selfs now and again . As i only watch you & Kemper from Germany Gavin as you both bring a lot of enjoyment doing it .

Cut the tip off of a road cone and use as a funnel. I say cut the tip because they have a small lip at the top. I carry a small dust pan and 1 of my cones is cut at the top.

Gavin, this isn't a rare occurrence you would be wise to find or create some way to clean this up. vacuum then cone designed to fit into the pipe and pour it in??? I'm not sure, I don't deal with it, but it should command some thought. To leave it on the ground no matter how far you wash it down it's still a biological issue. you can come up with something I believe in you!!!
