Here is a time lapse of me doing Demeter make up from CATS the musical. The wig was made by me..

I find it amazing how different you look in each characters makeup. I mean, that seems so obvious, but like you can really see how swing actors manage it. I'm also amazed that in most productions, the actor does this themselves.
You should do Japanese version Demeter!!!

Sry, but I can't make a wig tutorial! It takes very VERY long to make a wig and the video would be several hours long..
And I already made about 50 wigs for my cosplays. You can't expect that your wig will look like mine.

This tutorial is SUPER helpful for people like me who are trying to figure out what to do for Demeter make-up, so THANK YOU. Also, I know at the end of your video you state the different products you used to do this look, but what kinds of brushes and sponges and things did you use to put it on? I'm new to this kind of makeup, so I don't know what materials would be best to use in putting this makeup on...
Hey there :3 Thanks! I use round makeup sponges and thin round brushes for the details. I order my sponges from Kryolan and cut them into four pieces. Kryolan also offers good lining brushes, but I buy mine at a local shop for art supplies :)

What kind of hair or material do you use for the wig? and do you use any hair products to keep the wig in place? I am making outfits for Phoenix Comicon next year for me my dad and sister, I am going as Demeter my dad is going as Munkustrap and my sister will be Jemima
Hey there! The wigs are made of kanekalon fake hair and a lot of hair spray. You can use spirit gum or special wig tape to glue the sideburns of the finished wig to your face.
Do you use Kanekalon for the wigs?

Why is Demeter make-up so popular. I don't see very many of the different Cats as I do the Demeter. Is it because it is a difficult make-up to do or is it easy to do?

Demeter is one of the main characters that's why she is so popular. Many people who saw the show once remember her. Ditto for Munkustrap, Mr Mistoffelees and Victoria, but I guess most people prefer Demeter because of her bold and outstanding color.
