What's amazing to me is how Hoyer always finds a way to get into the game
Hoyer is a solid backup. Personally, I wish the Browns still had him. I think had he had stability with a team, he would have had a much more winning career. He put up some solid numbers on a mediocre Browns squad. I think with the team the Browns have today, he would be a winning QB. Raiders are lucky to have such an experienced football mind for real.

These people are delusional. Mac rookie season was just based on screen passes. A qb that can only throw max of 10 yards and in pressure even with poor accuracy. All in all you have a qb without throwing talent and terrible decision making.
I love my Raiders and appreciate the win but we played terrible in that game. We made the red zone so many times and this really should have been a shut out.

As a Niner I’m really upset about Jimmy Garoppolo’s injury. It’s really a big problem for his teams and also his career. If it wasn’t for his injuries he could’ve been a great quarterback. Although I’m happy for Raiders win. Also I’m glad that they’re getting themselves together after couple of losses and they have started to play better at offense. Although it was Pats who they have beat and we can’t say that they have been better surely but I’m really happy that they won this this game. Wish them the best… .

Mac Jones would thrive as a backup with the Steelers, Titans, or Packers. However, he still has a weak arm and poor pocket awareness. Even with better receivers, his passes are usually underthrown or overthrown.
This is just my opinion but I genuinely feel like Mac has done a pretty good job with what he has to deal with, mac doesn’t even need a good o line imo. He can throw the ball fast accurately, he just needs his wr to start being remotely open.

As a Browns fan, I'm a huge Hoyer fan as well. During the years of dumpster fire after dumpster fire, Hoyer provided some pretty decent games for us to enjoy back when we still had a mediocre squad at best. Given the chance, with the stability in the coaching staff and team in general, I think Hoyer would be a winning QB with the team we have today. Raiders have a good backup in him and an excellent football mind/mentor for the younger guys to be around.
What's crazy is that Hoyer has a better arm than Jones, and Hoyer is like 37 and supposedly way past his prime and not worth a roster spot. I have always been a fan of his, seems like a good teammate and a good dude.

Us Patriots fans have more great memories in 20 years than the the rest of the league has had in a lifetime. Go watch a video named All of Tom Bradys touchdowns if you have 3 or 4 hours to spare. We will be back in a few years.. Winning the Super Bowl is an amazing feeling but when you win constantly it loses a tad little bit of luster than the one before. The hunger to win will return. With the game on the line Mac Jones just stood there in the middle of the endzone and took a safety... He didn't even try to at least toss a prayer down the field.. I swear it's like he doesn't even want to play football anymore.
That was dumb, but having a beautiful deep ball dropped by the receiver that is supposed to be your "deep threat" can rattle even the best of QBs. It also doesn't help that his O-line is committing so many dumb penalties that ruin drives.

@@basdfef4775 Cheifs receiving core last year was better than the pats. Mahomes has Kelce who barely blocks effectively but catches like crazy. Barely a TE, basically just really big and physical WR, and he is the best in the league and a future HOF.

And Mahomes is mobile and can get yards on his feet and with plays breaking down(which is the MO of the Chiefs, and no one in the NFL seems to be able to recognize that). You can't compare a guy with the talent of Mahomes to Jones with a somewhat similar core of receivers. It just isn't the same. But we will see how well he does going forward.
