Thank you! It's crazy how things fall into place like that. If it wasn't for the nudge of my old coworker I don't know if I would have considered submitting.
OH MY GOSH, I got the magazine in the mail the other day and saw the poncho and LOVED it!!! I had no idea that it was your design, Amanda!!!!!! I will be making this for sure!!! Congratulations!!! I am a huge fan of Cascade Yarn! I’ve done a ton of projects with the 220 but not the super wash.
OH what! How cool is that!? Thank you!! And I was so surprised there is such a difference between the superwash and the non-superwash. I was not expecting the gauge and yardage requirements to change so much!
Congrats on becoming a published author/designer! What a lovely pattern. So interesting to learn more about your design process :) I would definitely make it in your original colour palette. Much closer to my personal style, but the colours they chose look great in pictures too. Quite trendy.
Thank you! And funny enough I did see someone mention on Crochet!'s IG post that they bought black, cranberry, and oatmeal to make it LOL. I do think it photographed beautifully in their colors though.
Congrats on the publication! Did you deliberately match the spacing of the vertical stripes to be about the same width as the tan horizontal rows? Because I think that really gave it an extra neat symmetrical touch. And now I kinda want to make that in your original colors because that red, black and white is truly my aesthetic. But I might switch the red to more of a maroon/burgundy and maybe the white to a light/medium gray. :-) Anyway, this is awesome and I can't wait to see what you've got coming out next!
Congrats on your first published work 👍🏾
Thanks for showing the process.
Thank you! And of course!
I’m going out to look for the magazine now. Congratulations Amanda 👍🏻🧶👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳. You should be so proud.
Thank you!! I am SO proud! 😊
Congratulations. May this be the first of many!
Thank you and it is for sure! I've got at least four more coming out as long as things continue as planned!
Loved it and both colors
Thank you!!
Congratulations! I hope you have many many more.
Thank you! I know that so far things are going well! Can't wait to be able to share what I cooked up for their next issue!
Congrats, Amanda! Kudos for leveraging your networking and marketing skills to get this beautiful placement!

@@MandobugCrafts Haha that's great. It is a classic colour combo!
Congratulations on the publication of your pattern. What does the magazine do with the finished project once the photo shoots are done?
Thank you! And I honestly have no idea what they do with the sample. All I know is that they bought it and own it.
Congratulations 👏👏🇺🇲🇩🇴
Thank you!!

Thank you! That wasn't my original intention but I do think that's what makes it so appealing.
You have Beautiful Eyes!
