Minecraft TRAIL RUINS Guide

Guide explaining the new structure, the trail ruins, in minecraft 1.20 trails and tales update. The trail ruins is a new structure that will be buried and need to be excavated to reveal loot items. The trail ruins will be filled with suspicious gravel that will need to be excavated with the brush tool to get loot items. Some of the loot items found in the trails ruins include armor trim smithing template, pottery sherds, and relic music disc. This video will explain how to excavate the trail ruins, the trail ruins structure, and loot items found in the trail ruins.

@@johndunn4060 it happens to me to i thought it first that it was a world issue be because my world is 1.19ish and update it to 1.20, i excavated around the ruins but couldnt find anything till i dug like 20 Blocks deep i found like a terracotta when i dug it deeper it looks like a building and a trail so it connected way deeper than you think.

What I have learned from this is that I will be coming for glazed TeracOta and other building blocks since the closest badlands(they have lot of Teracota ) in my world to my base are few thousand blocks away and the closest trail ruin that I found is about 800 ish blocks away from base

In the trail ruin I excavated, brushing on blocks caused adjacent hanging suspicious blocks to break. This happened many times. :(

I checked that and if you play the same seed many times and you go in coordinates with suspicious gravel and you use brush on it the item you will get is not always the same ... Its random and sometimes maybe you will not even find suspicious gravel in these coordinates ... is that a glitch? Or its just the way of how the game is working?

I’m using /locate to find them, I go to the co ordinates, dig around and there’s not even one there?

I found a trail ruin, but it only went a few blocks deep. Has that happened to anyone else?

You have to dig a good bit deeper than that in my experience at least like 10 or 15 blocks deeper till you see bricks or terracotta, the setup of these things is confusing it’s like you were supposed to know the design of them before you ever even saw one

Located another 2 but I'm having a hard time finding it. It feels like they haven't 'spawned'.
