I know this was their first performance but there is sweetness and innocence to Maggie's vocal that is very emotional. Darwin really contributes some exceptional guitar work on this song.
Watching them from their first year is too much. They were so good in 2010 and the innocence of the "kids" is stuff movies should be made of. Thanks F².

So good, and Maggie and Sammie were so new, and so young. What's crazy is how many quality recordings out of, seemingly, every live performance - along with their amazing studio work.
I live in Madrid, Spain, and recently discovered in you tube this wondeful band and support all positive comentaries about the band and everyone of its cooments. It's a pitty to have arrived so late, but I enjoy a lot listening the band.

First, I have to say you guys are by far the best cover band I've ever heard overall. You are all clearly very talented and worked your butts off. I have two specific comments about this video; firstly Maggie has a hypnotic voice and stage presence. Even with those little unsure moments here, she's an amazing singer. This is such a great version of Cat Steven's great song ( more associated with Rod Stewart ) . Cat Stevens ( Ben Yousef Islam) wrote so many beautiful songs before his long break from writing and performing . One of my favourites of his is his ' Father and Son ' .- the age old story of experience versus youthful idealism . It still pulls at my heart strings when I think of ' conversations' I had with my own late father . I think this great band could do a version of this as Father and daughter and tweak the lyrics a bit . Just a suggestion . F&F don't need my advice - they seem to be doing ok already 🌝

Hi Tim, Virtually 10years to the day! A very difficult tune to emulate. l detected you were not totally enjoying this but nothing could disguise your passion . For me this encapsulates your total commitment. The vocals may not have been what you were hoping for but for me the instrumental backing is what we have become accustomed to....top drawer! This is the first and most likely the last occasion when l find the original pips the foxes and fossils. Of course this is only my personnal opinion and l am no professional musician so what do l know!

its all about the harmonies...and to me, that starts when Sammy kicks in. Then i get the shivers up the backbone. Gorgeous sounds.
