Thanks for presenting this material. Another huge reason this shot is so important is that it keeps the opponent guessing whether you're gonna go straight or cross-court. Therefore it reduces their chance of volleying and possibly allow the ball to angle out the back wall thus making it harder to play anything but a survival boast.
You are most welcome. yes, seeing shots in isolation is a mistake. As you say, having a good crosscourt can help to stop opponent's from volleying straight drives. In fact, it's tomorrow's article topic.
I understand your frustration, but this was the very first video like this and I felt it needed some context. The following videos will have almost no introduction.
This is spot on. Pay attention to where the pros hit the front wall on their crosses. But just because it doesn’t lead to immediate winners doesn’t mean it won’t at the club level (it will, or at least a boast).
Bear in mind that the front wall location of a shot is dependant on where you are hitting it from. That might sound obvious to you, but newer players can't simply aim for one point on the from wall and expect the ball to bounce where they want it.
I appreciate that you're bringing variation in your content. This video is a step in positive direction. Please make more such videos.
I plan to make 2 videos like this every month.
I love this concept. Shots that win matches. Brilliant work coach!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Keep raising that bar higher and higher with your quality content Coach! Cheers!
Thank you for your kind words. I hope to release another One Shot video soon.
Great insights, Coach! This one goes to the permanent library: "Some shots win points, not matches!". Brilliant! Cheers
Glad you liked it!
Awesome concept! Can't wait to see more
Glad you like it. Expect 2 every month.
