When I asked them what to check with a meter or am I just verifying it was plugged in they replied "we have reviewed the video you sent us again and it's broken and can't be repaired, sorry.". Basically they just want to string you along until you get tired and give up. So now I have a paperweight.
I don't think so, that is just based off no mention of it in the manual and there is no spool gun switch or setting BUT in looking at the YesWelders spool gun it does look like it has the same Euro connection as the mig gun so it might be possible.
Yes you can weld aluminum. Get a Teflon liner keep the gun cable straight with no kinks and use argon gas. And if you want to tig aluminum just make sure to use helium gas. You don’t have to go ac to tig weld aluminum. It will have a black soot around the weld but that’s fine just wire brush it off. Think of it this way. When you mig weld aluminum it’s welding in dc current.
This would be more than enough. The tig is just a scratch start so if you are a tig welder or really want to get into that I'd pass on this one. The thing that puts this one on top is definitly the plasma cutter. I love that it's all in one machine. Round about answer, yes I'd recommend it.......depending on what projects you are looking to do.

WTH... Are people showing welders AFRAID to SPEAK in them? The audio of the noises is great, but a little SPEAKING describing it would've been greater! Sorry, impressive unit, but video is lacking!
I have the same machine and most of the parts that get with you are complete garbage. The machine itself isn't horrible but for the money there's a lot better welders that you can buy. I was a beta tester for one of their newer welders and the first welder that they sent me wouldn't even work on 220V. The replacement that they sent had a bad gas solenoid so it wouldn't get gas to the torch.

No, no means for a spool gun and it's DC only so you can't do alum. on tig either.

Why? You can pull or push with mig.
Actually when you pull a mig weld the shielding gas is constantly flowing over you entire weld. You can do both.
