No this is way after they were a couple. This is one of the songs on the Future Friends album. I think they just did a filter to make them look a bit younger as they were playing themselves as teens. None of the official music videos have bloopers, only the vlog videos. Some of the official videos do have bts vids separately though.
Almost all original Superfruit songs, including this one, are from 2017 when the Future Friends album was released. So no, they weren't dating - that was back in highschool. That said though, the album told the story of the story of their relationship: from friends, to boyfriends, their breakup and back to friends.
From what I've seen, they never said that. They said that the song Future friends were about them. The rest seems to be what fans think/want it to be. I might be wrong, but I've never seen any place where they say the whole album is about them. Although this one likely has at least hints of their relationship with the high school theme and sneaking out after dark *cough* mustang *cough*
This song and the video is such a 90s vibe for me. It takes me back to my late teens. I think they nailed it. As someone else pointed out this is from 2017, I think they deliberately styled them to look younger though, but a give away as to their ages in vids will usually be whether Scott has a beard, Mitch's hair style and what tattoos he has. As for bloopers, sadly I don't think they did much in the way of bloopers in the vids for their originals, but some had behind the scenes footage. And yes, holy shit that Mitch slap gets me every time!
This. We know very few facts from them. The rest is speculations. I enjoy them for what they are and were and what they decided to show us. The rest is their business.
I love you Mitch Grassi I love you Scott Hoying Reactions by D HEARTTBROB by SUOERFRUIT REACTION-they are definitely a trip together lo Erin Bloodworth
This video is straight up the 90s/early 2000s sleepover tropes of what girls did in the movies and shows. They are playing up the "90s heartthrob" theme. The whole song is around that high school movie trope things with locker combo the birthday of a leonardo, mentioning chad michael murray, john taylor thomas, the nsync members. They are basically living out an alternate high school experience where they could do all the "girly" things and gossip about the heartthrobs in tigerbeats. I love it. It's so cheeky and campy. And as others have said, one of their 2017 album songs. So as far as we know very much not a couple by then. Pretty sure Scott was dating Mark & Mason and Mitch was dating Beau around this time.
@@ReactionsbyD Not one movie. All of them. As a girl born in the early 90s, it was the standard trope in any tween/teen/YA friend or romcom movies. Or music videos a la Britney.
I love them but this isn't my favorite of theirs either. As a matter of fact I would have to say out of all of their video songs that they did produced videos for this was probably the lowest on the totem pole. It doesn't mean it's not good cuz they're good at everything they do, but something has to be on bottom. Thank you Patreon request. Thx for the reaction ✌❤😎

I give up on attempting an analysis with these guys. I've learned to just relax and enjoy. Nothing wrong with smiling for the sake of a smile.

They were a couple in high school for a few weeks. But not since apparently
And Mitch and Kirstie dated for a while but Mitch said she was to much for his little gay self 😂
Thanks for doin' it.
At least You liked the visuals ... so it was a good pick. 😆

you know what, I felt the same way - was good, but just good, not amazing
That was fun! 🤣🤣
I think maybe this song was about when they were together, not that they were together when they sang this.
