Hi Ranveer, There is a story behind the name. Because the batter for Raam Ladu is perfect when the small ball made with batter floats in bowl of water(as you have shown in video). When Lord Ram and Vanar Sena where building dam for Lanka. Ram himself tried to put one round stone(pebble) in water thinking it would float, but instead it sank down. Angad would was standing beside Ram started laughing. Ram asked why, the stone sank. Angad replied- The thing on which Lord Raam gave up/abandoned(here the stone), how can the mighty water body accept it. Thanks 😊

What a coincidence sir, I was talking to mom the other day when we made moong dal dosa. I was staying at Lajpat Nagar from 1999 to 2005, F block , Lajpat Nagar IV. I used to go to Lajpat Nagar Market and never miss out eating this Ram laddoos with mooli chutney. What a place to be at that is Lajpat Nagar. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Once I asked that person the proportion for the Ram laddoo and he said 3 potion moong dal and one portion chana dal. He never mentioned abt urad dal. Good you shared this recipe. Will make it. I am presently at Mumbai with my son and my mom, a small family. Will surely make this. Thank you sir for this recipe. And one more thing Sir , you look just 30 to 35 age wise.
