Tbh I didn't play undertale but I seen it myself, I never saw it a phase two just a middle point to take a short break before getting for real although I don't think he really went it all that time lol.

I still like the idea of slashing the same location twice to trick sans into dodging into it.
It adds a bit more character to the story, like that sans dodges based on predicting facial features rather than on reaction, and that chara learned to use that against him.
Yeah, but Frisk isn't trying to be smart here. They're going on a more aggressive route, so they wouldn't plan their actions and they'll just bruteforce through everything.

Reenvision IS the best word, as it's similar to the original Reimagined word, and that's really what I'm trying to do. Not a remake, or an overhaul, but a reimagining.
