I swear, I always thought the typical drum pattern for house music was "kick, hi hat, snare, hi hat and then kick". But it does make sense for the drum pattern to be "four on the floor".

House music (I don’t use the term EDM, I say house for a general electronic music descriptor) is my favorite type of music and I also love drumming. Obviously house is very repetitive including the drums but do you think there is room for a more complex, less robotic drum groove in it?
Of course there’s a lot or room for a drummer to add to their house beats. These loops I’m uploading are meant to be repetitive but otherwise you can do a lot in these styles. I even wrote an educational book about it, it’s called Four On The Floor
