- Here in the Great Lakes region, Trout and Steelhead gorge themselves on helplessly drifting Salmon Alevin. They float in the river currents, unable to swim against the flow, and drift helplessly downstream. This fly pattern is a fairly easy one Materials nomadanglers.com/blogs/fly-ty...

Very innovative. Not all squirmy wormies are equal. Yours is one of the very best. Thanks for sharing it!
When the angler ask the fish if they want some CANDY very cool fry pattern
I'm headed to the Cattaraugus soon for vacation. I know this pattern will make my trip so much better. Tying a dozen of these to take with me! Thanks for posting.
Looks awesome!!
THAT'S the 1st time i see that. But it looks amazing. There going in my box for sureeeeee!!!!!! Thxx bud
Man this thing is GOLD!!!!
I’ll be in the shop tomorrow. Load me up!
I tried tying a couple. Funny thing happened. When attaching the squirmy to the hook using crazy glue, it started to smoke...no joke. Decided to use UV resin and worked fine.
Really nice pattern.
Very nice! I will be whipping up some of these flies
They work great late winter early spring
Nice fly!! This is exactly the kinda thing thats been workin where im at on the lake Ontario tribs this february. The baby king salmon are getting into the rocks near bottom and the steelhead are plucking them off one by one! Hopefully one is my fly lol. I will take a dozen of those please!! Fish on!
Great idea
I love this pattern! Thanks. I am curious, doesn't your worm material dissolve eventually when you use super glue on it?
hello, can someone tell me, at what time of year they can be used, they go in spring and summer!?!?!
How much gap between egg and hook point? Thanks 😊
🐟‼️
Doesn't the glue eat at the squirmy material?
Yes most will, but after trial and error, we found Gel Control loctite does not eat away at the squirmy
