Can we all give Ariel Posen a big warm welcome to the Andertons TV channel. We'll be featuring Mick, Ariel, Rabea, Paul & of course Danish Pete regularly on this channel in 2017. Hope you all approve! I must say, I couldn't wish for a nicer, more talented bunch of people to work with on our channel!
CaptAnderton your awesome team of talent is getting better and better. Thank you for all the joy you let them spread around UA-cam and please consider the CD with improvs for people who need to listen to some nice music during working hours :)
thanks for the *Danish Pete* part! My last post, I included Dutch in the lower half of the post because I forget after all of this time... Welcome to the circus R-E-L!
yes capt, no offence but these guys outshine you in every way so its good your upgrading the team as it gives more variety and shows off the gear properly.
I have one and love the way it sounds and feels, my only issue with it is that it has some intonation issues, even after having it set-up professionally.
I got the exact one in this vid this year, 2016 black w/rosewood. It was perhaps a floor model or opened box return. All the plastic film was in place. The return would make sense because it had a ridiculous quality issue which Fender and the highly rated Dave's Guitar Shop of La Crosse, WI USA overlooked. The pickguard was severely warped. Easy fix, no biggy seeing I got it for $350. I discovered though that it was warped due to the mounting screws for the humbucker being too long and bottoming out in the cavity pushing the humbucker up with the pick guard. I'm not talking a tiny bit. There was over a 1/8 inch hump. It was an easy fix, but very alarming and a crappy first experience with a Fender. Oh, yeah.........intonation....not responding well on all strings with saddle adjustment attempts. Otherwise it's a beautiful guitar and the fretwork is flawless.
Here from the future lol. I bought one of these around the time this video came out--still love it today but I never heard it outside of myself so I wanted to see it in someone else's hands. Anderton's never disappoints, and neither does Fender. I still recommend this.
Wow! The Andertons demo crew is getting just crazy good. Got to be the biggest collection of talent demoing guitars on the planet... Great video. And welcome Ariel, just amazing playing and a perfect partner for D.P.
This is the only product promo I’ve actually watched all the way through. These guys have such sincerity, passion, and musical chemistry (in addition to the technical skill you need to make these demonstrations really pop).
Sweet sounds guys, iknew that would happen soon as i saw ur slide Ariel before they even panned up to ur face that slide is a dead giveaway, so great to see you joining the team there, looking forward to the sweet sounds of that slide in the videos, what an amazing atmosphere it must be there......u guys sound amazing together but then that was a given with the amount of talent u both posess..
Really enjoyed Ariel tearing it up on the slide over on That Pedal Show a few weeks back, glad he's over at Anderton's now.. And of course, the fact the Mustang has been my favourite 6 stringer for well over 20 years also helps :-)
I really like how Ariel talks about guitars. Nice style of playing too. I can hear everything I need to hear to understand if I like the guitar's tone (juicy chords, nice bands and solos and no excesive one string shredding)
Please Andertons, make an album. I know many of us, including myself, loves all of your guys playing. We would love to be able to listen to you on both disc and streaming. I know you all would put together some great albums. Even when you all are playing improve you all sounds amazing. Keep up the great work guys. O.C. Cali. sends yous love.
I'll be visiting the UK from New York in a few weeks, and I will be making the pilgrimage from London to Guildford just to visit Andertons! I can't wait. It's going to be the highlight of my trip :)
RicardoDiazHimself More higher paying jobs, more money people have to spend, more people money have to spend, the stronger the economy is, the stronger the economy ths more business opportunity there is. it's pretty simple economics work force participation is the lowest it's been in years. for some communities (African Americans) It's the lowest it's been since the great depression we lost many of our manufacturing jobs because of increased regulation. Repealing them, allowing US companies to compete again and introducing tariffs to companies that manipulation there dollar and undercut their workers is a step in the right direction.
Welcome, Ariel... Great slide work! As for Capt Lee, I thoroughly enjoy your tasteful playing and hope to visit your amazing store one day. Cheers from Maryland, home of the mighty PRS!
Thank you so much for this review, I've been looking into getting a Mustang since this new model came out. Appreciate all the input. Much love from Colorado, USA!
I've played 'Mustang Sally' at many a jam, with many guitar players, and hated it every time. Never has it sounded as good as you two guys, just tossing it out there. Bravo for that.
I think Fender did amazing with these guitars. They're simple, rock solid, and amazing sounding instruments. I fell in love with HS Duo Sonic, seems like a very versatile guitar that can do it all from jazz/blues, indie rock, grunge, punk, it can probably go into heavy metal territory very well. That's my next go to guitar.
I have the black hs model I bought in 2018 new. Great little guitars. The reason I bought it was I had a 1964 duo my dad bought me when I was 14 years old but got stolen from me in 1971 at a gig. They are great.
Just bought a white single coil Duo-Sonic as the first "serious" guitar after 1 1/2 years of Squier Bullet Strat, and I love it. It's amazing how this guitar seems so much easier to play and so much fuller in sound!
Picked up one of the olive mustangs today actually, only went browsing but couldn't walk away from it, they play like a dream, they're amazing for the price
brilliant video, seeing Pete & Ariel play off each other and push things further was amazing , please pair them together in future again =) now time to get out the wallet for a duo sonic
I wish Fender could bring back the smell of their guitars and cases from the mid 60s when I saw, heard and smelled my first Fender Mustang. I was quite an experience.
Agree. I think that has to do with the Nitrocellulose finish they used to use versus polyurethane used these days. I had a 65 Fender Mustang that was like that. Good stuff
Man! I've just talked myself out of buying one of these for the last month and decided to buy the white Gretsch Mick played a while back. Now after watching this I have to start the conversation all over again. You guys Fxxk with my mind and my wallet on a weekly basis but I can't not watch!!
I love my yellow Duo-Sonic HS. Light as air, versatile, comfortable, and despite my best efforts to kill it, it just keeps going lol. Plus it looks cool. Now if i can just get my hands on a pink Mustang...
Mustang has a slightly deeper offset as well. That's why there is also Bronco, Musicmaster2, DuoSonic2 as well, because that's basically a redesigned body with a reasoning of pulling the guitar into a more player friendly position. The original DuoSonic, and Musicmaster are shaped more like a strat on the back half.
Alright. How the hell is Ariel not making famous solo records. Hes insane! If that was what he could do during a random improvised solo what could he do in the studio?
Amazing review! I have the Duo Sonice and too bad they missed the split coil on the humbucker in this review cause the middle position on the Duo Sonic HS with coil split sounds AMAZING to me. Love these guys.
I wish I could play like Pete. He’s as good as anyone in any band at the moment. Believe me I know from a career guitarist’s opinion (45 years) of watching his style etc.
Seriously sold on the Duo Sonic, orange or mint. Saw a picture of Alicia Bognanno (of the band Bully, who you should really check out) with the orange one and was most of the way there, so I'm really happy hearing you both coax tasty tones from them!

CaptAnderton Wait who's Paul? Is that the keyboard corner guy? He's cool. Been a while since I've seen em.
awesome!!!
Fender Duo-Sonic HS is the most underrated guitar in the Fender line-up! Incredible tone.
Jacob Barnes just bought one. 23:25 on 31/1/20 dude. You hit the nail on the head.
I have one and love the way it sounds and feels, my only issue with it is that it has some intonation issues, even after having it set-up professionally.

Omg... The jams they did together. .. Amazing...clearly shows you don't need a custom shop guitar to sound incredible..
Andreas Høvenhoff Hald good amps help!
Andreas Høvenhoff Hald many of the most incredible musicians didn’t. Pete can make anything sound great I believe.
Andertons seriously has the best players.
Mikko Havukainen to be honest they’re better than even Andertons.
Andertons definitely has the best shirts!
@@edwindude9893 what? Better then themselves?
That intro jam though. So tasty!
Breakfast lunch dinner geez 😋
These two are Andertons ultimate duo for me, such great players.
I reckon that Ariel could use a bit more practice, mesel.
Wow! The Andertons demo crew is getting just crazy good. Got to be the biggest collection of talent demoing guitars on the planet... Great video. And welcome Ariel, just amazing playing and a perfect partner for D.P.
these guys and Chicago Music Exchange are pushing out the best demo vids of all time
check out the Wildwood Guitars channel with Greg Koch
tony93666 man been there. They're ok, not sure they have the depth of field Andertons is building.
neuk01642 I just love Greg - he's a complete nut! hahaha
That was UTTERLY inspiring playing from both chaps in this vid. I'm getting my slide out right now to have a go at some of those tasty licks.
I like Mick's new beard, not sure on the new accent though
He's lost weight too ;)
oh its Stuart from guitar nerds hello
Welcome to the new guy :) Nice slide playing
Deniz M Hahaha that's Ariel Posen.
This is the only product promo I’ve actually watched all the way through. These guys have such sincerity, passion, and musical chemistry (in addition to the technical skill you need to make these demonstrations really pop).

Great guitar players! Really tasteful jams especially in this one! Cheers from Canada
I really like how Ariel talks about guitars.

One of my favourite Paradiso episodes, tasty playing and great guitars
love both of your chops delightful phrasing! Ariel and Pete (and Mick) the best combos
Ariel's slide playing in the opening was so cool. Holy shit.
Welcome new guy, great playing and comments, looking forward to seeing more of you in the future.
glad you could do these vids Ariel. love your playing and really enjoyed that pedal show vid and the captain meets vid
That jam at the end was one of the best things I've ever seen.
That white one is a tele/strat. Yes I'm all maple as well. Love the Mexican fenders. The amps both sound epic.
Great to see Ariel back. Such a great player and with a real knowledge of the gear! Pete is wonderful as always. Lovely guitars.
Pete and Ariel! What a combo of great players
delicious slide playing at the beginning there :)
delicious playing all over this video I love it!
Toby lol got em
Great sounding guitars, and great playing. Welcome, Ariel!
Ariel seems like he swung in there and didn't miss a beat, good addition!
INb4 the tonewood argument is incited.
"Get em' before the wall goes up!"
You KNOW he had to be waiting to get that one out. :D
Zac F
they'll be made in America again so not too worried ;-p
You will be worried when they double the price on these ;)
RicardoDiazHimself
at least we'll have jobs to pay for them ;-)
well, im not so sure... unless you know how to operate a CNC machine.
RicardoDiazHimself
More higher paying jobs, more money people have to spend, more people money have to spend, the stronger the economy is, the stronger the economy ths more business opportunity there is.
it's pretty simple economics
work force participation is the lowest it's been in years. for some communities (African Americans)

Repealing them, allowing US companies to compete again and introducing tariffs to companies that manipulation there dollar and undercut their workers is a step in the right direction.
This channel is in a totally different class to it´s nearest competitors. Keep up the great work boys!!
Definitely after one of these, in orange!! Some beautiful playing here guys!!
The red Mustang with P90s and rosewood board is a massive WANT!
I could watch you two jam all day!!
Welcome, Ariel... Great slide work!
As for Capt Lee, I thoroughly enjoy your tasteful playing and hope to visit your amazing store one day. Cheers from Maryland, home of the mighty PRS!
mustang p 90's sound good ...thanks for playing that with no add on pedal stuff...and with.
cool..
Thank you so much for this review, I've been looking into getting a Mustang since this new model came out. Appreciate all the input. Much love from Colorado, USA!
I could listen to these 2 dudes jam all day long!!!!!!!!!!! Nice!!
Ariel is awesome. So glad he's on here now
Always love hearing Pete rip it up, but dude on slide was killing it hardcore. Very smooth and emotion filled sound from both of these gentlemen.
Pete started on the duo in the review portion and I nearly shit myself. That is the sound in my head. I need it.
Awesome as always...even three years later. Those two latter Mustangs are just lovely. Those P90s are gorgeous.
these 2 are perfect combo,
love the jam ...
dynamic duo!
I've played 'Mustang Sally' at many a jam, with many guitar players, and hated it every time. Never has it sounded as good as you two guys, just tossing it out there. Bravo for that.
I don't ever want to go back to a life without Andersons music co!!!!! just cant get over ALL u awesome players..Lee got the dream team!
Ariel is an ace player and is such a good fit with Pete.
So awesome to see Ariel on here!!! While in Ireland ehh :)
And Pete and Ariel seem like a great match. Nice work Anderton's.
love the way Pete and Ariel riff off each other. sweet
Does Pete just Gel with everyone, or is he a progenitor Guitar Paradiso Host that eases the new peeps into the role?
+Yoseph McJoe Both ;)
Andertons Music Co haha, alright
Love that moment at 10:45 when Pete combines "pickup" with hiccup.
I have the black hs model I bought in 2018 new. Great little guitars. The reason I bought it was I had a 1964 duo my dad bought me when I was 14 years old but got stolen from me in 1971 at a gig. They are great.
So happy to see Ariel back!!! Love this guy!
Love the new Canadian guy! Great addition!
Love Bros Landreth and so happy to see Ariel coming back on your shows! And although I may be partly biased as a Scandinavian, Danish Pete rocks!
Man you guys play so good... and those amps too! Hell, you could make a video playing brooms with strings and probably still make me want to buy them!
I have the red one with P90s. It's an awesome guitar! No upgrades needed.
Chris Skinner its my favorite too.
How noisy are the P90's?
I like the green mustang guitar. 2nd pick is the red mustang w/P90s.
Just bought a white single coil Duo-Sonic as the first "serious" guitar after 1 1/2 years of Squier Bullet Strat, and I love it. It's amazing how this guitar seems so much easier to play and so much fuller in sound!
wonderful guitars and playing
Finally showing offsets some love, ask and Andertons delivers, nice.
Fantastic players - Ariel's a great find
Picked up one of the olive mustangs today actually, only went browsing but couldn't walk away from it, they play like a dream, they're amazing for the price
thats some damn tasty playing right there. real sweet
Dad got me one in 1964. Someone stole it in 1971. Baught new hs model last year. Love it. Baught back some good memories.
That was a bad ass jam at the beginning. Beautiful.
Fender please make purple a color
Aaron Long purple is already a colour
Great to have Ariel joining the team!
I love Mustangs so much
Pete is one of the most underrated players on this channel. His sense of melody is incredible.
Sweet playing, both of you!
Damn Ariel´s playing is phenomenal. Awesome guy.
brilliant video, seeing Pete & Ariel play off each other and push things further was amazing , please pair them together in future again =) now time to get out the wallet for a duo sonic
As a kid that was just discovering rock music when grunge and alternative rock hit in the 90's I have to have one of these
I wish Fender could bring back the smell of their guitars and cases from the mid 60s when I saw, heard and smelled my first Fender Mustang. I was quite an experience.
Agree. I think that has to do with the Nitrocellulose finish they used to use versus polyurethane used these days. I had a 65 Fender Mustang that was like that. Good stuff
Oh my word....That Mustang Sally was RICH!
wow so cool that he's gonna be doing reviews for a while
I just started looking for a mustang/mustang 90 yesterday this is perfectly timed.
Alex I'd love to get myself a Seafoam Green Duo Sonic but Fender doesn't sell any Black Pickguard for these
Ariel's pinky is as long as my middle finger LoL. Also, OMG this guy can play.
Just bought the Mustang with the '90's. Nice, and sooooo cheap. Worth adding to the collection.
I own an orange Duo Sonic and I love it. I'll be getting a Mustang sometime in the near future.
Another tasty episode of guitar paradiso!
There is just something about Mustang w/ P0s
Great playing with and without the slide
Mustang has a slightly deeper offset as well. That's why there is also Bronco, Musicmaster2, DuoSonic2 as well, because that's basically a redesigned body with a reasoning of pulling the guitar into a more player friendly position. The original DuoSonic, and Musicmaster are shaped more like a strat on the back half.
Got one of the Mustang 90s (with the P-90s) in silver. It sings.
Alright. How the hell is Ariel not making famous solo records. Hes insane! If that was what he could do during a random improvised solo what could he do in the studio?
This aged quite well
I bought the daphne blue duo sonic HS. Love the small light weight feel of it. So easy to play. The tone is beautiful also.
Amazing review! I have the Duo Sonice and too bad they missed the split coil on the humbucker in this review cause the middle position on the Duo Sonic HS with coil split sounds AMAZING to me. Love these guys.
The intro jam is my favourite Andertons blues jam.
welcome to my breakfast dailly videos Ariel. Great chemistry with Pete there. Cheers!
great to see Ariel taking part in these segments!
both incredible players, especially in a duet
Pete is my man for sure. He searches on the guitar for melodies.
Guys you two are the best couple in Anderton's!
Yay!! I've been waiting for this one!
I wish I could play like Pete. He’s as good as anyone in any band at the moment. Believe me I know from a career guitarist’s opinion (45 years) of watching his style etc.
nice guitar they are very good musicians, the ending was very cool, I just ordered my Olive green Mustang, can't wait to receive it!
Seriously sold on the Duo Sonic, orange or mint. Saw a picture of Alicia Bognanno (of the band Bully, who you should really check out) with the orange one and was most of the way there, so I'm really happy hearing you both coax tasty tones from them!
