I like the stages of trickery Jack: double down, get more burgers Micheal: cut losses, try to escape with them believing what they want Geoff: come clean
I kinda wanna see what the others would do in that situation. It'll probably never happen, but I can guess. Gavin: bolt out the front door after the misunderstanding is made clear. Burnie: Go with it Barbara: Puns Joel: Freak out internally and if the misunderstanding is discovered, freak out externally
I definitely would've caught myself after the guy said "but you USED to work there". That's such a free out to just be like "well yeah but I don't anymore" and get off insanely easy.
It’s really telling that Ryan’s reaction to this hypothetical situation-if he was the one caught and not Geoff-is to hide it so he can get away with it lmao rip
People would like to think themselves as a normal person but the reality is different. Some people wouldn't have questioned the discount, some people would have asked and then say nothing after the guy mentions Emo's. As much as people would like to think of others as good and honest, there are many people who are not.
Chicken Everland This had nothing to do with the burgers. Given how the cashier was giving Geoff discounts, he probably was paying for whatever was taken out of the discounts. In other words, that guy had wasted a ton of cash over the course of those 3 months.
Twice a week for three months is roughly 26 times to the bar. Four burgers each time. Twelve dollars per burger. That's 1248 dollars in food. And the guy was giving about a 70 to 80% discount... So that's between 900 and 1000 dollars in free food. wtf
I think what saved Geoff is the fact he never lied to the guy. I’m sure he was thinking about doing something because he’s embarrassed but he just assumed he knew who he was, he never asked who Geoff was and he never tried claiming to be someone else even when he was given plenty of opportunity to play along
I mean it's on the burger guy himself. He just assumed you were someone he'd seen at Emo's, never once questioned it, never even told Geoff he was hooking him up, he just sold this dude cheap burgers as a nod to another venue.
If it was the cashier at Wendy's, I'm sure they wouldn't care. But since it's a local establishment with some scary looking fucking guys, you sometimes gotta play by their rules.
Geoff (is that his name ?) Remains me so much of my Father ...and I hate that this is a trigger for me now, because I really like these videos ...and I like him
That guy was probably copping the cash in his pocket then voiding the ticket afterrrr it was sent to the kitchen. I’ve done this on a sales job before when the owners made me do it lol

Did you mean Ryan? Jack's not even there lol.
barbaro267 And yet they immediately account for how he would have responded to the situation.
“What Ryan just described was ‘The Jack.’”
There are 3 types of people in the world...
I definitely would've caught myself after the guy said "but you USED to work there". That's such a free out to just be like "well yeah but I don't anymore" and get off insanely easy.
Geoff: "I'm not a piece of shit"
Ryan: *Wish I could say that*
HAHAHAHA OOF
It’s really telling that Ryan’s reaction to this hypothetical situation-if he was the one caught and not Geoff-is to hide it so he can get away with it lmao rip
Well...
I'm sure Ryan would says it. It wouldn't be true, but he'd say it.
I can hear him now:
"I swear the burgers looked over 18!"
This is why Geoff is a Hufflepuff, being too honest.
Duskblade25 I feel like any normal person is a huffle puff
The Geek You think Newt Scamander is normal?
ZukoHalliwell Well, i mean in real life, like every normal everyday person is a hufflepuff
...as in... Harry Potter?

Geoff: "I'm not a piece of shit." Coming from the same guy who would pee in an elevator at a hotel "just to be a piece of shit." LOL
Iamtheknight 95 To be fair,we all was a piece of crap in the teenage hood
@@phasedcloak2835he threw a burrito at a security guards face when he was 19
he got 6 burgers that night, $60 is only enough for 5 burgers. even then he was getting a discount
8-bit maniac I think it was $60 tip
Aidan ROTF is right.
Chicken Everland This had nothing to do with the burgers. Given how the cashier was giving Geoff discounts, he probably was paying for whatever was taken out of the discounts. In other words, that guy had wasted a ton of cash over the course of those 3 months.
Just the tip
We all know that dude didn't put the 60 in the register... it was his tip.
Twice a week for three months is roughly 26 times to the bar. Four burgers each time. Twelve dollars per burger.
That's 1248 dollars in food.

So that's between 900 and 1000 dollars in free food.

2:25 holy crap, that's the first time Geoff has ever looked legitimatly scary to me
I think what saved Geoff is the fact he never lied to the guy. I’m sure he was thinking about doing something because he’s embarrassed but he just assumed he knew who he was, he never asked who Geoff was and he never tried claiming to be someone else even when he was given plenty of opportunity to play along
YOU BETTER GIVE ME THE BIGGEST FUCKING TIP YOU'VE EVER GIVEN ANYONE IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE
Jay Play "Here's $60 bucks."
you said $60 twice
It's a glitch with UA-cam. Happens every comment with 2 or more replies.
Geoff will regret the day he tipped that one guy $61.
When Geoff said he could outrun the guy I started to laugh, then I remembered he was in the army for 5 years
I feel like a huge part of that anger, like half of it, was at himself knowing he fucked up and pretty badly.
Jesus, Geoff legit looked like he was ready to kill someone
Send Ryan in
ShaGoo Mad King Ryan or GTA V Ryan?
one ryan is destructive enough while 2 is pure uncontrollable chaos
@@ryzacobalion3622... B O T H
But it would be even MORE expensive to pay for the entire bar once Ryan burns it to the ground.
Well this hits pretty different
Man i miss these days
It’s crazy how different Geoff looks now
I went to that burger place after RTX. Best burgers I had in a long while.
Dude Casino El Camino lasted longer than Rooster Teeth, that’s crazy
I mean it's on the burger guy himself. He just assumed you were someone he'd seen at Emo's, never once questioned it, never even told Geoff he was hooking him up, he just sold this dude cheap burgers as a nod to another venue.
i want Geoff's shirt. like 7 of them.
I love how many times Michael leaves the table and stops listening to Geoff to refill his drink he’s trying to quench his whole alcoholism

As always, thanks Hembo 😋
lol Geoff. I live in Waco, the shootout was at Twin Peaks, not Hooters. Close enough tho
ChasingFoxes
Your name makes me smile
The bar caught on fire today.
Geoff it was twin peaks in Waco!
...Is it my imagination, or does Geoff look like Jean Reno circa 'Leon: The Professional'?
O wonder if this burger place will get a surge of customers now expecting discounts
I wouldn't go expecting a discount. I would go and say "Geoff said this was a good place to get f*cked up."
Good advertising
Love this being recommended to me after he just told it again on ANMA
I have a question Hembo,DO YOU SLEEP?
Tavern Crawler On days that don't end in "Y"
"Tell me... Do you bleed?"
*Hembo posts five videos*
"You will."
Why would he have to give that guy a big tip? It was his fault he confused Geoff for some dude who worked at Emo's.
to avoid knife scars on the face. Im sure they covered that.
If it was the cashier at Wendy's, I'm sure they wouldn't care. But since it's a local establishment with some scary looking fucking guys, you sometimes gotta play by their rules.
60 dollars doesn't even come close to the discount he got for 3 months
Ok but the food is fucking amazing there.
I love the constant sunny references from michael
Something something this early, something something topical reference.
snarky reply
Ridiculously over-the-top retaliation, with implications of infidelity on your mother's part.

god this story was very funny as hell
Honestly if you felt guilty about it... you shouldve just stopped going
No confrontation
No potential murder
12 bucks for a burger!?
You heard Ryan right? They make meth too. Its mixed in with the burgers.
You see, this isn’t macdonalds so the food actually costs a little bit more because it’s real meat
Have you heard of the rule in selling shit. You sell for 3x how much it costed you to make it. So in reality its a 4$ burger
I feel like I've heard this story in a really old RT podcast
Am I crazy?
Yeahhhh
Should have kept the scam going
You do know sooner or later he would have put two and two together Jeff wouldn't been breathing
I swear he told this story a long time ago
Bender Rodríguez This is Off Topic #2. I watched this one.
Bender Rodríguez Me too!! I feel like he told this in a reeeeaaaally old RT or Drunk Tank podcast
