Nice! I'm glad my room made the cut! I was actually stoked to see the back of Dale's setup. I recently got some Kallax shelving and a CRT for my retro stuff, and I was looking for a way to hide the wires. I think i'll emulate what he's done.
Honestly dude. I just love doing this stuff. From the game room tours videos (that help me out finding ideas) to the ideas themselves its a blast. 5 years ago I had all my games in a closet. Thank you for the comment thats always appreciated .
I can't get enough of these videos. It is so fascinating to see what people from all over are doing with their collections. Great work, and keep em coming!
Love watching these--the little touches in rooms like nerd love emblazoned in SNES-style text? Solid! A great example of less is more in a setup followed immediately by a space is precious arrangement--seeing rooms back-to-back like this make for fantastic comparisons of style and what best to do with the collection you have and the room you're allotted. Trundle drawer of controllers for the win!
I've come to learn I love all game rooms. Big, small, abundant, few, doesn't matter. If the room has displayed games - it's awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Hey that’s crazy! Thank you so much for showing my room. I wish I had more room like Nicks lol. To answer your question yes my marquee does change per game being played and it’s actually three 7.5” displays with a piece of hardware hook to my computer to put out one image. I wanted one lcd display but they are pricey for that custom size. Love the videos keep them up. Ps I want all your different Wii controller stands lol
DUUDE! I knew it , well I was hoping that was the case. what a sick setup that is and to be honest my brain didnt even register they were several displays. I looove that idea. makes me want an arcade like that badly! thank you very much for jumpin through the hoops to submit your collection I am sure people will be pausing a lot! AND YOU CANT HAVE MY STANDS THEIR MINE ALLL MINE!!
@@jonesygirl790 hey thanks! This was a unusual find can’t even remember where it come from. it’s hard to see but Yoshi is holding a small Donkey Kong. But I believe these are part of a Super Mario super size figure line. Hope that helps
I still need to do some more things and make some more shelving. But one of these days I'll get to the point where I feel proud enough to go ahead and send pics and video to you. I post stuff up on my FB and my Instagram a lot. But I still don't think it's far enough along to send to you.
Awesome stuff. I discovered your channel a few months ago and really appreciate the ideas for game rooms. I also have a similar shelf around my window that my father in law custom built. That’s what first got my attention lol. Anyways keep up the great content.
.Heck yeah! and hey man I appreciate the comments. the seriously helps me out. I made that shelf as something to do while i was stressed right before my son was born lol. I measured each game type I had and even special editions to make sure i had a nice fit. I dont make stuff very often so toons of mistakes and re cuts etc. I was very sad when it was done because i wanted to keep going after about a month of work. But im glad it worked out and has held its own for at least four years so far.
@@DiskCart oh wow! Luckily my father in law is a carpenter so he did all the hard work. Made the shelves adjustable too. I will def follow up at some point thru your form for game rooms, I just need to clean mine up before I do 😀

It's a Philips Hue Play. Since the light is oblong, it was easy for me to strap the light and it's AC adapter to the spine of the guitar stand, ensuring that you never see the light itself or its black power cable. Then, i ran a white extension cable to the guitar stand to connect to the AC adapter, hiding it on top of the wall's baseboard and making it stick with a thin line of 3M tape. Without removing the guitar and being close to the stand, you'll never see any cords or the light itself. Cheers!
@@killadirk That's cool 🤘 I really like the way it looks and I thought I'd try it on my guitar. I have "regular" led strips behind my kallax units but it's like 5meters long and the end cord is black so it would be too visible where my guitar is.

I love this episode. So much inspiration from smaller collections that are super clean and could be adopted into larger ones. It gave me some ideas!
I found this channel and binge watched it!! This is amazing keep up the good work!!
Thanks very much! ALWAYs Appreciate that!
As always, very nice collections and displays guys
Great rooms for sure. I love that controller drawer
Yeah you are right, it’s just the little things like lighting that can completely change the look of a collection.
right!? a little light or a small plant a carpet or even just more negative space.
First time on the channel fellow Tuber! Dig your vibe. I'm going have to binge some episodes. Get caught up!

Hi Disk Cart,
Can you do a video tour of your game room please : )
Lol one day. One day indeed
9:33 But why is that pillar not painted to look like a Mario pipe!?!
Lol i imagine you going into your basement and painting every pipe green even if its unseen!
:mindblown: This is why channels like this need to exist. Such a good idea.

Id really like to know what sort of led light was used behind that guitar. I didn't see any cords going behind it

Does anyone know what that large Yoshi figurine is??
3rd strike on the SFII cab? I see you...
Thanks so much for the feature of my room (1st one shown)! If anyone is interested I'm mainly on Instagram @daleyretro 🙂
glad to have it! love the lighting in there and wowsa those floating shelves are legit! must have some serious mounting going on.
@@DiskCart they're 1.1meter long floating IKEA lack shelves side by side, was hard to get them flush!
half your room is full of action figurines. thats a toy room
Well if a room has games and is for gaming its a game room. Plus a massive collection of games to boot.
