I have tried 3 different micro usb cables and 2 different machines both running windows 10. Does not show up as a device at all. But the actual module seems to function. Is this a issue on my end with device compatibility or is my module defective?

My project as pointless as it sounds is to make a sound device that plays the intro music heard on the FX TV network website back in 2001: "are you Xperienced". I just found a copy of the music and a jpeg of it from back in the day. Plus I can put music on it and play it through my stereo, going to be adding an audio out jack to it.

Because it's a fucking sound module, not a music player. It's not designed to play high res FLAC files while connected to ultra high end speakers.
