In regards to tech/echo range, we checked it a couple times to ensure it was within range. As for Anakin, I commented on the push vs. wound play in the meditations. I was going for the big swing, and extra movement on the struggle tracker by taking a primary down. It was a call at the time
@@AegisbrandStudios I love big swing plays. But I also like realistic chances lol. 5 success on 8 dice. Vs non exposed 5 dice good expertise. Vs. 1 success on 7 dice. (1 crit or just getting one hit since his expertise is much worse.) I think if you pushed him off he wouldn't have had the resources to come back Quickly. He draws iden has to shove Anakin off to get his point back. Needs 3 down with her either side. 4 for the double shove. But as always good stuff to watch! Even if I question some of the plays!
Great game! Just bought the starter box for my girlfriend's birthday, excited learning more about how to play through your videos! Anything you wish you knew before you started?
Off the cuff... The cards are your best resource. The game is quite good about telling you what your abilities do. 95% of the time, if you read the card, and think it is telling you to do something that is not on the card, you are mistaken. We like make interpretations based on our own gaming history and experience. Leave Conan at home. What I mean by this, is that this game is very much driven by positioning and being able to displace your opponent. Aggression can definitely work into your plan, but sometimes you can do more via movement than by punching. Try not to approach this game like many other skirmish wargames. It plays differently than a lot of the mainstream games out there, and it can trip you up. When everything clicks, it is an enjoyable experience. However, getting there can feel oppressive sometimes. I think there are, legitimate, bad match ups that will make someone salty. Play around with it, and get used to characters before settling on a particular team. Lastly, thanks for watching! My best advice, check the comments on my videos. They are a great resource for rules corrections, or in some cases, tactical suggestions. We are not infallible on the channel, and will gladly admit if we got something wrong. Learn from our mistake.
Great game! Love seeing Anakin on the table! I’m actually bringing him to a Three-mier tournament this weekend (premier, but 3 squads instead of 4), so was super excited to see you guys bring him to the table!
Good luck at the event! And yeah, I have had this fever dream that Jedi primaries might actually be decent into empire, due to deflect whittling down their lower stamina pools. Needs more testing though.
It is a fun combo, for sure. I just wish Anakin was a bit more consistent with his performance on the table. A simple change to his expertise tree, changing the double strike to a crit/strike would be nice. I have had Anakin just outright blocked a few too many times
@@AegisbrandStudios when they do an update to the game (which will happen at some point) I hope they fix his experience tree. Anakin should be better and OP like Vader.

I love the Republic in this game, another amazing battle report! Also were do u get your terrain? Is it 3d printed?
We use a mixture of the official, and 3d printed terrain. The stuff used in this one is from War Scenery, and is from the outer rim set

Obi/Anakin is my favorite republic combo to run. That’s my OG list.
