Alright so I think I know the difference between V.I.P.s and Rebels. Judging from the 2 songs so far I believe the V.I.P.s get to live a much more privileged life, but at a cost. In this song it says "I'm the only one inside my brain". I believe that means V.I.P.s have something in their brains, like a chip, that gets rid of their negative emotions. Notice how in this song the Rebel is almost proud of his anger. The V.I.P.s probably are chipped because someone is/was trying to make a utopia. No bad emotions, no violence. But the Rebels don't want to be chipped because it takes away a bit of themselves. Anyways, I could be way off, so we'll just have to see.
this also fits with the lines from Our City We're beautiful, they are not We're perfect, they are not *We're evil* , they are not *We are corrupted* , they are not It makes sense

I'm still not sure if they storyline I think of is accurate to the canon one (Ask on Discord) but oh well. This seems to take place during the beginning of the Anarachy vs U.A.J.P war. The Anarchists are already attacking and amassing numbers, and inspiring a good deal of people to join their cause, but the U.A.J.P still have a good deal of firepower and weapons, and the person singing here is torn between staying obedient or doing what he wants to and joining the fight. He doesn't want to die, instead he wishes to live as he has, reasoning that some of the U.A.J.P supporters are fine and not evil as would be assumed. And yet, he remains torn. He wants to *burn* everything down, just for hell of it, yet still believes in U.A.J.P. After all, the U.A.J.P and it's followers have been told they're Beautiful People, haven't they? Wasn't planning on making one, but here's a sub-par one anyway.
