Its crazy how much of this information is new to me and its 8 years old. Many people still say we cant regenerate x thing, and they also say adults dont have stem cells. So many echo chambers of false information.

Thanks for the clear and informative explanation of FES. I am wondering if the presentation slides are available. Many details on the video recording of the projection are difficult to make out.

Funcional Electrical Stimulation does work for Spinal Cord Injury! It just should be potencialized with a artificial neural network similar or exactly those showed recently by a study done in one of the polytechnical institutes of Switzerland!

We have plenty of stem cells in our nostrils constantly. I have MS, rotational scoliosis degenerative disc disease and 3 bulging discs can I get this proceedure? I use a tens unit and it helps with the pain. I'm excited about this process!

My legs are currently paralyzed from an autoimmune disease called ADEM (Acute disseminated encepholmyelitis). I do use my EMS machine on my legs. Do you think it would help more with it on my spine??

Hi Dustin, you may find this presentation (and transcript) on "Ongoing Rehabilitation Strategies" from our 2021 symposium helpful: wearesrna.org/resources/ongoing-rehabilitation-strategies/. In her presentation, Dr. Cabahug discusses transcutaneous electrical stimulation.
