Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

God it always made me so mad that the commissioner was willing to let a murderer walk just because he didn't want to admit to wearing a toupee. Should have been fired for that tbh

@@josh2Sides2 Yes but he was embarrassed about wearing a wig so he didn't want to admit it, and if they didn't get the hair they wouldn't have had the DNA and the murderer would have got away, which he was well aware of

It's a shame you excluded one of the finest Sharona's lines when Stottlemeyer questioned how certain Adrian was, and he responded "74 percent," to which Sharona said "Seventy-Four Percent Is Enough For Me.". She proceeded to pull the toupee from the commissioner's head as everyone watched on in awe. It was a great moment for her character, and showed just fearless she was.

On a happier note, I love that the guy who plays the coroner is Scott Adsit, who voices Baymax in “Big Hero 6.”😊❤❤

Doesn't DNA come from the hair follicles? If her hair was cut to make a wig, there wouldn't be any follicles, so no DNA. Or can DNA be found in the shaft of the hair now?
