Well I have used the Bic flex 5 in all directions with no problem. so for ME, it worked great. Shaved better than any other razor I have used. but everyone will have their own opinion on it. I will stay with it :)

The best razor ever!the deepest shave I'd ever had!I use lidl cien gel I think Nivea are crappy products except for after shave balm...I have stopped shaving with foam cause with gel my skin is softer...

Great video. However as a head shaver, I prefer the Schick Xtreme 3. I cut the dome very bad and deep Threw away the remaining razors. Keep bringing the great videos

Used this recently.its fine if you shave twice weekly.shirt stumble. On a weeks growth it clogs every stroke. And forget about taking a beard off with this razor. Just used a two blade disposable tonight week worth of grown beard. Trader Joe's honey mango shave cream it kinda lacks lubrication. Two blade uncomfortable disposable,Gillette...at least the blades got washed out . Best system is no more than 3 blades. 4 blades or more will not remove week of hair growth easy without clogging. Up too 3 blades do. Best is one blade.take everything off one stroke. Gillette Trac 2s those will do same...5 minute shave . The 4 blade and up was marketed too new generation who use canned chemicals with no artisan or simple Castile bar soap knowledge. Bic,Gillette know this sell them the expensive resource waisting blades...

love the flex 5 tbh, gives a very close shave after 2 passes and the blades themselves are very cheap compared to gilette ones, I've tried getting into safety razors but my skin got very irritated, maybe I just have to get a bit more practice in
Practice and limit the pressure. Also, pick a mild blade like Gillette Premium. 👍🏽
My best shaves are when I haven't shaved for about a day and a half- that way I have significant whiskers. Use a thick shave soap, gel , etc. Use a de only with the grain , relather and use a good 5 or 6 blade razor. These blades are close together and give a great shave , but clog up too easily. Then use a good post-shave balm 😊 !
I love BIC I always start my morning right with a BIC.

FYI The Balancing Sphere on the Bic Flex 5 Hybris is also a release button if that the one that I have. Look if you press it, it releases the cartridge refill off the handle. As of 10/ 11/ 2021 You can purchase one for $10 that comes with 2 handles and 12 cartridges refills At Family Dollar stores.

Tried one of these today. For body hair at least, I don't think I've gotten a faster / closer shave without irritation with anything else I've tried! Was curious to see if it was just dumb luck or if they were some mystical cheap blade I didn't know about lol. That said I can indeed agree with the grabby statement when I tried it on my neck stubble. Seems to potentially excel with the much less coarse body hair for sure as it removed the hair instantly with single passes as well as not grabbing on and pulling. Hoping it remains just as good the next shave~

Nice vid. There is a Bic Flex 2 at the 99cent store.... 3 heads for $1... they are good enough....a bit light.... Speaking of weight, I like the Gillette handles that vibrate....the battery inside gives a nice balance.... that roast made me hungry.....

Too many passes with a 5 blade razor. It's not "grabby" you're just doing too many passes. This is a 1 pass with the grain razor. Hence the 5 blades. It cuts more hair in fewer strokes

With all the different styles and brands of razors (cartridges, DE, etc.) I’ve seen you use, is there one that stands out as your “desert island” razor?
I like DE Safety Razors best and would use them exclusively if I didn’t do shaving reviews. I also LOVE One Blade by Philips Norelco for trimming long stubble, and general clean up.
Hey Tony. You ever tried the bic sensitive single blade razor? Similar to a safety razor in design but a really cheap and light shave.

Absolute hatred for the trimmer blade on the back (all brands) I shave my head and those trimmer blades are unavoidable I've nicked my ear due to those stupid blades so many times over the years I really, really hate it and they where never great to begin with.
I'm sure some folks like them but I don't care for them even if I didn't shave my head I wouldn't use that as any part of my buying consideration. It wouldn't effect my opinion at all but for some reason I've always disliked Bic but for shaving my head their blades generally do a very consistent job so I've grown to like the brand tho I've never enjoyed them for shaving my face.
