The real reason Egypt won't let in Palestinians is that if they did that, Gaza wouldn't fight with Israel because people who are comfortable aren't willing to throw away their lives (which they do simply by living in Gaza as bombs are falling). I think a lot of Arab people (I am not) would find this video a little bit funny, because it deflects their culpability for any suffering in Gaza caused by poor economic conditions. We don't talk about Arab nations being responsible for anything related to Palestine.

Egypt is an U.S ally and a vassal state. Jordan is also a strong U.S ally. So is Saudi Arabia. Why is he acting impressed that US vassal states are anti-Palestinian? That is why anyone sane advocates for Palestinian right to self-determination in the land that is Palestine.
