I v been following Bjorn and watching him in several demonstrations for more then 3 years but now that I was one in his group and we v visited some of the most famous bonsai nurseries and places in japan together, I can tell that he is one of the most respected and an amazing bonsai master in Japan, together with Nanxi they make a very good team.. Congrats Bjorn and Nanxi..
I am not normally a big fan of forest style. But these trees, combined with the arrangement, really works for me with this one. The red pine was definitely styled to maximize its potential. I always enjoy Bjorn's videos. This one especially so for its uniqueness. As it was more watching him work, than him as a presenter.
Enthusiastic audience. Full of cool cats I'm sure Major respect to Nancy and Bjorn though. Lots of pressure on that stage and speaking in multiple languages. I'm sure you've worked really hard to achieve what you have so far.
Both masters are of their great taste, skill of art in making the plant to be very interestingly beauty of their own natural look. Great piece of art really.
“When i knew tou were doing the tree, i was worried. But i am impressed with your vision and work.” I may have added the last little bit, with that said, I need to mention the honor and a tear in my eye, in making your master proud.
Where is Nancy from originally? Bjorn mentioned she lived in Japan for 13 years, I'm wondering from where did she come to Japan? I would guess China, but, although her Mandarin is very capable, it doesn't seem to be her native tongue... Actually, Japanese seems to be her native tongue. Maybe I just misunderstood Bjorn when he said that, or maybe he was referring to Nancy living around Osaka for 13 years. Btw, Nancy's English is so good, if she really focused on her enunciation, it would be hard to tell that it isn't her native language. She has a very minimal accent when speaking English. Her Mandarin seems to be at a similar level, though possibly with a more noticeable accent... But all around her language skills are quite impressive, not only in how natural she sounds speaking each language and how minimal the traces of accent are present from one to the next, but as I just mentioned, 'from one to the next' is also very impressive. It takes a flexible and responsive mind to switch between 3 different languages in short succession. I have trouble switching and translating between two.
Wow don't know how I missed this vid. Nanxi is the star of this vid. I have a hard time with one language. You did a pretty good job too :-) . Can't wait to see you again in April next year. Steve.
Went back and watched this video again and learned a lot that I missed the first time. Gorgeous trees. Can you tell me if all the trees are still alive. I was worried that those beautiful trees on the raft survived. Thanks for the inspiration!🙋♀️
Question. I've heard you must repot only in spring, and you seem to echo that thought...but what if your tree is an evergreen, and you live in an area where it doesn't snow (usually doesn't even hail)?
verry happy for this. lkve it. see u in stage whit the master of bonsai is like the awesome things I have seen. im verry happy for u. kepp it up. #Bonsailover @carielfresh ;)
mola, tanto el pino, como la laja buenas ideas, para los no profanos Por cierto, aprende español, ke mola mucho para mandar a paseo, tenemos mil maneras de hacerlo
This video is one for your memoirs, a very special moment for you and Mrs Bjorholm. One to be cherished.

A remarkable transformation. Having known Bjorn for a number of years, he may have outdone even himself on this one.

Bjorn looks like a giant on stage compared to the rest of the people ☺️ not just in height but in ability
She did a very good job of translating 3 languages in real time, not a tree but very helpful for all those in awe.

Isn't that Bjorn's wife translating Chinese to English and Japanese?
Anyone know the spelling of the gentlemen's name that is assisting Bjorn? Does he have a UA-cam channel?

They will have hard time keeping those white pine alive. Wired and almost bare rooted them at the same time. In late April.
They are masters at their art but I’m sure you know better than they do ........
That wasn't even close to bare root bro... they didn't even cut any roots to be specific.. those trees will be just fine..
FIRST!
I just bought a bonsai, now i'm trying to learn
ricardo carneiro I want to get into junipers and pines.
