Issue is, Joe is a grown man. He could have properly talked about it with Slaughterhouse and Eminem. Whatever issues he had. He didn't do that it seems, considering everyone in Slaughterhouse kinda felt a certain way towards Joe for a minute. Instead he just randomly decided to quit Slaughterhouse and not at least drop the album. He was the only guy who didn't want the album to drop. Confirmed by the rest of Slaughterhouse.

Honestly I feel Joe felt like Em owed him more than he gave, and took that oppurtunity on Everyday Struggle to get a piece outta Em. Unfortunately it made the already strained situation between them even worse.

Joe Buddens has a right to his opinion so you cant be mad at it but I will say I understand what Eminem is saying if he had a hard critique about the album he could have talk to Em personally. Joe did all that for show and hits and he did it by throwing Em under the bus someone who helped him out and that was Shady (No Pun Intended).

@James Allen I agree about that line. Kelly couldn't put out a track that slanders another one of interscope's artists, especially one as big as Em, without someone's permission. And it would probably go through Diddy, so Rap Devil was probably ok'd by Diddy. And Em addresses Diddy 4 times on the track regarding it:

"this idiot's boss pops pills and tells him he's got skills" (Diddy's MGK's boss)

He and Royce are still friends, and they think that the podcast is the break he needed because hip hop was wearing him down. Both of them wish Joe success, which is nice.

But Em is an artist in the label. Yes, his name is on the label but he never came in as a business man. They (Rosenberg) put his name on it for promotion. He said that he didn't want to interfere with their typhoon which should have plowed the game.
Em featured them on his albums, signed them, got them with some of the biggest and most respected Hip-Hop producers and artists, took them on tour, helped produce their "Total Slaughter" rap show, had their music on the 'Fast and Furious 5' and 'Southpaw' soundtracks, showcases on BET, spent thousands on album and video budgets... etc..

all this is kinda like a soap opera lol all these beefs and dramas; it's very entertaining and adds so much more to the music,,and the competition brings out the best in some of these artists. the N.Cannon disses i been hearing lately have been fire! as have all the mumble rap disses. Hip hop is an interesting scene right now and i'm glad that true lyricists seem to be dominating.

I'm just curious as to why you think that it was a dilemma that Royce was in like he had to choose which side to take him or Joe Budden? Because if you look back through the hands of time Royce is known Eminem way longer way way longer than he's known Joe and they've been friends way longer. So if you see a neutral he's got a point he's got a point but yet I've known this dude way longer I mean which side do you choose you kind of just pick it apart but I guess maybe if you didn't know that it would almost come off a sounding like it's a black white thing. Royce and Em have survived beef everybody forgets about Royce's Malcolm x track from early 2000 where Royce and his whole crew diss Eminem and D12 after Eminem and Royce had been friends for 10 years plus they've known each other since they're almost 16 years old

Slaughterhouse was like Wu Tang minus the GZA. Em would not put himself in the position to be called a tyrant, so they were a rudderless ship because it had no leader. Wu on the other hand, started with a 5-year plan and creative direction courtesy of the GZA. When Slaughterhouse said they form like Voltron, that line was stolen from an interview with the Wu.
This isn't to say that Slaughterhouse could've worked either. Nothing is bigger than Em, so like D12, Slaughterhouse could only exist in his shadow. You gotta feel for Em; he's got all the wealth and talent anyone could dream of, but he can't walk down a street, he can't go shopping on his own, he can't even make a public comment about anyone because he'd create a viral career out of nothing if he did. Dude's a prisoner of his own success, and Slaughterhouse - like D12 - is a victim of it too.
