I do find it interesting that in my 40+ years living in and out of Shreveport, our water has inexplicably been discolored this summer. The water has never been pristine but this is the first time the water changed colors and they told us it was still safe. If there is a storm that effects the water supply they are quick to issue a boil water advisory, even for clear water. But this summer was the first time the water was visibly tainted for months and they said it was safe. 🤔

As long as the "1955 Held by Protection Law" is not attached to the property it is worth $35 to $50 thousand dollars per acre for 10 years. Whether there is an apartment, house, or it is just land that is the amount you will get paid for every acre you own.
