Helvellyn from Striding Edge

On my recent trip to the Lake District I walked up Striding Edge to Helvellyn. Leaving from Glenridding near Patterdale I walked up on a beautiful day but with snow and ice on the tops. I ascended to The-Hole-in-the-Wall then across Striding Edge to the summit of Helvellyn. Swirral Edge seemed a little too dangerous so I took the long safe route back to the valley.
