Just a clarification about that underground oven. When the roasting is taking place, the workers will cover the opening with a round metal plate then seal it with mud. You guys walked in when the oven was not in use. You should've arranged your visit for when they actually prep the whole thing. Nice vlog as always and as we say : "Bessaha".
A wonderful video of a Marrakesh restaurant with a special flavour. Long live Marrakesh, the Moroccan city of lights. Thank you Steiners for these beautiful memories
Great video guys. I been in this restaurant in Marrakech in madina. The owner wearing black is the Kings chef and he has 2nd restaurant in in gulize is big. Every time i go from London to Marrakech i eat there. Keep the great videos coming stay safe.
Watching your video , I feel that you are a part of the place you are taking the place for you as the Moroccans are doing it 😁 you look like you are living in morocco the way how you creat the proximity with ppl ♥️♥️ .
The only family I love to see wanders around my country, Morocco, because of their kindness and simplicity of life. If I were in Morocco now, I would host you in my house with grilled meat, meat tagine with plums and raisins, chicken pastilla, and Moroccan fish pastilla... as for couscous, you have tasted it... an enjoyable tour ❤✌

Just came back from marrakech, which was amazing... elfena square has two legends, to start al fena means the end in arabic first legends says the sultan used to excute people here, the second is that there was a plan for a mosque to be built and the sultan died and didn't finish it so the squere of the end became the name. Chez elamine has a second restaurant in guliz were i husually go quiter as tasty Tanjia is slow cooked lamb with firmented lemon. This restaurant also famous for lahm mashwee means grilled meat Also this guy used to be the cook for the late king hassan the second

Hi 👋👋 the stainers I love so much this tanjia becous I'm from marakech and exactly from orika so I'm hingry when I'm seeing this vedeo and now I'm so hungry 😂😂 I need tanjia also enjoy
You've whet my appetite.. I'm going to make a tajin tonight... I'm at work.. I'm watching the video during the break.. I love you, for God's sake.. I wish you a good stay in my country... Moroccan in Canada.
A beautiful experience...a wonderful video full of activity 🌞😍💪 As for me, I prefer eating the tajine dish with meat and vegetables because it is healthy...but the tanjia dish also has a special place.
you look like you are more morocains than new Zealanders . specially. the way you are eating with your hands. Welcome to the morocain wold . . cheers 🍻 sydney 🇦🇺
And btw, you guys might be alittle reluctant to trying the cow feet dish "Hargma" with chickpeas, but trust me guys, you'll love it. Some people might not enjoy the texture but the taste is amazing. Just saying...
I thought you guys would have the famous roasted lamb meat. That where that undeground oven are used for. You could find tangia and tajin anywhere in marrakech but you should come a bit early to chez amine mustapha and try the machoui "the roasted lamb meat" it's just unbeliveably delicious❤
Chez l'amine, he at one point was hired to cook for the Royal palace, he even cooked for many presidents of the world in their visite in Morocco, amogst them the late British Queen Elisabeth. the guy in 16:02. and sadly it seems you guys went for the roasted lamb, but ended up with a tanjia.
