Also I loved how in Undercover, the cops would report stuff that you had nothing to do with. Showed that the cops have to deal with other stuff besides you.
Thanks! And yes Undercover police chatter is the best because of how hilariously random it is at times (if you listen to the one I put in this video, they mention "someone stealing vegetables").

Eric Yui I remember the police chatter talking about a jogger who got lost, or chased by a dog or something. The police chatter in Undercover was pretty good and charming in an otherwise bland and pretty mediocre and forgettable game.

Hell yea! High stakes was one of my all time favorite classics! The atmosphere and music and gameplay was ahead of its time.
and porsche unleashed because it's have the most realistic drifting physics of all NFS games.

The Need for Speed on PC was where it all started for me. Once I had my hands on Hot Pursuit III/High Stakes I was in love. High stakes was my first game I ever modded for PC.

FINALLY!! i was kind of hoping a follow up to the first video was gonna include the OG Need For Speeds. I just wish they would give more garage spaces, or kept unlimited storage like in Payback, so we can remake these cars from previous titles.
2:24 i freaking Love that Porsche the 2.7 RS Carrera Porsche 2000 is very nice for me and for sure a lot of OG Fans very Nostalgic the Hommage to the Ogs NFS (well ik that isn't a 2.7 is a RS 3.0 though)
Undercover would look so good on this engine.

Hot Pursuit 2 and Carbon, definitely because of Nostalgic reasons. So many good times playing split screen with friends and family.

NFS Heat graphics would have worked well with Undercover, both games took inspiration from Miami after all. (Undercover only partially, mountain areas and two other cities look like California outskirts)

A dream of oldest NFS players:
HD graphics with all old tracks (included music tracks) from I-IV, HD menu from High Stakes PS1. Just imagine Landstrasse (sunset, not pc day light) in HD running with Camaro in pursuit against three german police cars. I missed something?
Not only that but bring the classic intros 1 through 5 back and liquid plasma as intro music for the intro would be epic also bring interior view back and and bring all the race tracks from the original 1 through 5 make a great big free roam map like the crew series but have both north america and europe locations also bring all the cars back from older games three i'd particularly like would be the italidesign nazca c2 italidesign cala and last but not lease the ford gt90 have insane customization insane damage physics/models also bring back the classic police chatter from 3&4 bring high stake races back(pink slip race lose the race, lose your ride) also bring back the showcase infromation/track description man different game modes like tournament, hot pursuit(free roam) knockout 1vs1 races, time trail, track car delivery( npc calls you up in free roam you can either accept or decline if you accept you can get rewarded up to 60,000 dollars on completing the task as long as you have no damage and haven't been stopped by the cops for speeding or being chased you get three warnings if you use up all three warnings then you lose the money plus extra cost of the fine however the more you get into pursuits with the police the more they'll keep an eye out for you driving around(free roam) now if in a pursuit and get out of sight you'd be able to escape to a garage to change to a different car or just change the colour body rims etc however the cops when you leave the safe house they'll be suspicious when they see a car similar to yours and last but not least call it need for speed high stakes 2 then release on ps4, ps5 xbox one xbox one-x pc etc what do you think of my idea ?

We really should've gotten some classic Murcielago features such as the old taillights and rims in Heat. Also I always forget how good HP2's soundtrack was. Oh and Undercover's dispatch comms. It sounds so real!
I think that only iconic NFSs remaining are 2015 and obviously HP 2010.
Eric you done a Fantastic job remastering ps1 NFS Highstakes and PS2 Underground. would love to play both on PS5...after watching all your remaster videos in my personal opinion 2015 reboot ,Rivals ,2012 most wanted, 2010 Hotpursuit, Payback and Heat all is junk compare to what PS2 era had to offer. this is what Criterion should do remaster previous NFS title's. if you had a tool kit to PS4 I would buy Highstakes, Hotpursuit 2, Underground, The Run from you. have not played NFS since The Run. I'm afraid Criterion second chance will not be any better than the first time around.
