Catching TONS of SPECKLED TROUT on TOPWATER | Summer Speckled Trout fishing!!

- In this video we fishing for summer speckled trout in Louisiana. We launched out of Fourchon (2o minutes from Grand Isle), and fished the south islands of that area. This is the time of the year where the speckled trout are getting into spawning patterns and the best place to find them are near sand bottom beaches, and deeper cooler water when the water temperature is above 90 degrees. On this trip we had trouble putting a pattern together, and eventually fished under birds, which is a deadly tactic while targeting speckled trout. We were able to catch them on topwater, soft plastic under cork, and jerkbaits.

Man I have no idea it was my first time catching it. But I heard you gotta cook it fresh, if you freeze it the meat get mushy
