On my iPhone I have the Electrify America app (Settings / General / CarPlay / My Car / Customize) but I can't get it on the Infotainment screen. Also, how does one add compatible apps to the Infotainment screen and then rearrange them? I can sort the order on my iPhone but no changes take place on the display. Thank you in advance for your help.
Merci pour cette vidéo 👍 Elle me fait rêver car premièrement cette voiture me tente bien. Deuxièmement car j'ai un merveilleux souvenir de vacances en Californie 🤩😍 Salutations de France ! So I'm really confused as well as frustrated and not very happy. First, I just picked up a new 2024 VW ID4 on Sunday. Thank goodness I did NOT get rid of my 2023 Bolt EV (more later). Being used to the Bolt's fast, simple and well designed screen, the VW's is not nearly as good. Now mine is the base model (that super low lease deal got me). Even though it's a 2024, mine still has the old type shifter on the side of the instrument cluster. From what I read, all the 2024's were supposed to have the new shifter on the stalk. Nope. The second thing is that mine must have the old screen because it's different from this one in your vidoe. The dealer I got it from was great to work with over the phone, but once I went in it was all down hill from there. We had agree on a specific time that the car would be ready. It wasn't and I ended up standing around for 40 minutes waiting. When they finally drove it around, the sales guy simply handed me the second key and said thanks and walked away. Ok, so I got in and figured I'd be able to figure it out. First thing I notice? They didn't put on the front plate. Back in I go and they tell me there was nobody there to put it on. I go back to the car only to find that the car was only charged to 49%. Now I'm ticked and just drove off. Now came the challlenge of learning this stuff on my own and all I can say is that it's not user friendly or easy. Frankly, I hate it so far. The ride is too firm. The driver's seat is designed strangely and the seat cushion is too long pushing on the back of my knees (last time I purchase a car without a test drive). It also feels like I'm sunk down in the seat in a strange angle. The seat itself if comfortable for short drives, but that's it. The brake pedal is too far forward and too close to the accelorator. I could go on, but the list is too long. But this screen and infotainment system is really bad. The stupid buttons on the steering wheel suck and having to go into the screen just to turn on the heated seats and climate also sucks. Ok. I'm just getting frustrated talking about it. So enough. I only have 23 more payments!! I can't wait and there's ZERO way I'm getting rid of my Bolt for this thing. The Bolt is 100X better and a better EV all around.
Sorry I don’t understand, this is ID4. What does Jetta got to do with it? Software looks promising but now they’ve done a joint venture with Rivian for software. Hopefully there will be Major update the end of the year
I was exactly looking for this content. Thanks.

what chip does 2024 ID4 use ? I did not find the type anywhere, what I know in China ,they use sumsung Exynos Auto V7 which is quite smart one.
Still no VW/Cariad appstore?
Hi, does it hve Apple Maps EV Routing?
Also another question, can you put apple maps on the main screen instead of the built-in navigation?
Yes, but just via apple car play
Incorrect, iD4 as of writing does not support EV route planning via projection, Outside of iD Maps powered by Here maps
Merci pour cette vidéo 👍

Same OS, different skin.
Quite silly watching this as Volkswagen announced that Jetta's getting another facelift...
