Hello Gretchen, I’ve been listening for a few years(?) and have enjoyed all of your postings (as well as ‘Choices’ book. I found this particular topic fascinating! Please continue, if possible, this idea of how our inner selves create our reality and what can we do about it. Is it possible for the very ego structure that controls our thought patterns be used to alter our experience of the reality it says we see? Doreen
That truly was an amazing meditation. I hadn't really grasped the nature of reality before. But I can see it more easily now. Thanks to you and your teacher. I knew that, for instance, my choir friend (not at all spiritual) and I will have exactly the same experience, and I will be ecstatic and she will be critical. It makes me smile. She has no clue why that is (what I know is Shakti) and even goes so far as to try and pathologise it!! Of course, I would love to try and explain, but my guides say no. Let it be. And I have long known that Buddhist saying that - See the beautiful cherry blossoms.. Did you know that some people only see the cracks in the bark of the tree? It so totally IS what we choose to focus on. It reminds me of Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Exactly that. Lots of love from across the pond. xxx ps my body also won't do what it once did. Hey ho. Life in your 70s, eh? But it's a privilege to still be here. Take care.
