thank you for this video! figured out that this thing at 4:56 broke off clean while trying to reshell my console, now I can only slide it with a toothpick. any chance there'll be a video on how to replace that? or some idiot-proof solution, I don't know😂
@cotatoo pretty easy it just screws in and has a cable to connect. The main thing will be finding a replacement probably best bet is to find a cheap donor that can get the part off of to replace it.
Great video Mon Ami ..... Where can I get those parts from ? .... Keep making the 25 and 29 videos , not all repairs are the same .... Xtal leg failures from the board glue is agood example ..... VCO alignment ..... Oh I did find a voltage regulator for my HP 8656B signal generator .... It's a funny thing that it has a 8657 face on it , and green led's , It is one of the later models right before the 8657 came out ....
Thanks yes I am working on a 25 now much different issue I need to do a video I have been so busy with yard etc. that I have got behind on making videos.
think a top down view would work better as your hand is covering a lot of the 3ds in the side view set up you have

@@TheElectronMan I love a good challenge , I had a 25LTD give me fits one time ...... VCO can was bad and intermittent .....
