Definitely. I'll never understand the love that the Deck gets. It's certainly cool, especially for the price, but it's way bigger and less powerful than all of its competitors. I guess Valve has better advertising.

Price is literally 100 USD more than a deck for double the performance in most triple A titles. and it outperforms the deck in emulation while locked to 15 watts. I really hate these dumb arguments from die hard deck fans " oH mAy AsWelL gEt a laPToP" urm... no cos i want a handheld i just want one that doesnt play games at 20 fps. I sent my Oled deck back because of how piss poor it actually is for the price why am i paying so much for a handheld that literally does nothing well OTHER than emulation not to mention the battery life isnt as great as you guys make it out to be either 1 hour 25 mins of GTA V before it died so really not a huge deal better than the rog@@adrianfortus1932
I have a onxplayer 2 i say its because onexplayer dropped the ball on releasing the controller grip to go with the joysticks....making alot of reviewers to say its good but pointless..also when they finally shipped no one even did a review...that could have been a re marketing but everyone was like meh..oooh rog ally ooh legion go ..then for some reason the legion go came out good marketing...and even people are saying it's the first gaming handheld with controllers that come off..its a great device but you can't send something without the quality that separates it from The rest I say this with frustration...I might be switching to lenovo legion go not for bandwagon but for support in general..shipping my onexplayer 1 to bangkok to be fixed sucked
@@adrianfortus1932 There are competitive products that have better battery, more power, better screens, more games, size, form factory, etc. The Deck is the lowest performer in most categories, except price. It's the best choice for gamers on a budget.
So can you detach the controllers and use them or do you need the extra piece? That's the main reason I like this device because of the detachable controllers. If detaching the controllers disconnects them from the device then I'll get the Lenovo Go
You need to buy a controller center piece that contains the battery and wireless connection. The "joycons" slide into that, and then the whole thing is the controller. It's also a separate purchase, so it's honestly not worth it in my opinion. - Zu

I wouldn't go that far, a track pad is ideal but as long as it has good joy to mouse implementation I think it's ok. Multiple Ayaneo devices, the Loki, and ROG ally all don't have track pads and are still perfectly usable. -Aish

Should I get the onexplayer? I need something with good battery life. 65watt sounds good but if I can get the 75 w kun that would be awesome
I mean this isn't a new phenomenon lol PC handhelds have been around that price for a very long time outside of steam deck and ally is when price pegging began and those are MAJOR manufacturers. If something happens to cheap from a small manu great if it not it's expected
