This tip helped me figure out that you can still record while scrolling through all apps running wheel as long as you don’t activate another app. So I can look at my notes on my phone as I record!

Yes it will work but don't use a 13 use a cheap one if leaving it in car you can a old model that does this for £50
Also app store for background recording will work better than this .

Yes true, first time I tried it from the camera when the is locked ( swipe right ), doesn’t work .. you have to open the camera from the icon and the phone is open then it work.
