"Do not regret growing older, it is a privilege denied to many."
Ephesians 6:10-18 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.

As a Muslim
I deeply respect this man
And as a christian i respect Saladin.
Both democratic leader.
@@serpentpigeon9108 lol
As a non Muslim, your religion is dumb af
Though Baldwin was a Christian he gave Saladin a true Muslim greeting out of respect for the man himself and to show he respects a man’s right to his own religious beliefs as that is a personal relationship between a man and HIS God. Baldwin also kept his word and bullwhipped a Christian that blatantly disrespected Saladin because that man WAS IN THE WRONG. Saladin showed respect to Baldwin by offering his finest personal doctors to help him with his leprosy and by honoring the terms offered and telling his army to stand down. He did this to give Baldwin the opportunity to prove himself as honorable to Saladin regardless of their differences because he was quite certain Baldwin WOULD keep his word which he did IMMEDIATELY. These are two VERY HONORABLE AND GREAT MEN WHO WERE ALWAYS RESPECTABLE IN THEIR ACTIONS AND ALWAYS KEPT THEIR WORD. They also showed the entire world that as long as you treat others as you would like to be treated everyone can get along, live together in harmony, help each other as brothers and sisters, and religious differences do NOT have to cause violence and murder. All you have to do is NOT disrespect your neighbor’s beliefs and treat them with the same respect you seek. So long as your neighbor is honorable as well. That is world ANY GOD would be proud to have created. A happy God indeed smiling down upon his people that finally got the message of LOVE.
The movie also shows what happens when one of the great and honorable kings died and a lesser man with less honorable qualities and far less intellect takes over. Saladin dealt with him but being the same man of honor did as he thought Baldwin would do were the situation reversed. He did NOT conquer, loot, pillage, nor plunder. Nor did he allow his army to. This is A GREAT MAN we are talking about here. And I myself am a Christian.
I’m sorry I wrote a NOVEL here lol but this movie really moves me as it shows the entire universe the SIMPLE BLUEPRINT FOR ETERNAL WORLD PEACE AND HARMONY. Simple. So long as less than honorable men “sit on thrones” so to speak, peace from neighbor to neighbor, treating everyone we encounter everywhere we may travel WITH RESPECT AND HONOR unless met by disrespect and raising our children to do the same is the best we can hope for. Assalamu allaykum my friend.

He was wise beyond his years, skilled in warfare but prefered peace wherever possible, he was courageous in so many ways and inspiring in that he exuded strength despite being so physically weak.
Even today, just thinking aboht his life and achievements is inspiring.
The challenge of mortality makes you appreciate a life lived well. The blessing of suffering is that you know to value the positive. This is one of life's greatest lessons and virtues. Ego is not who you are and is a waste of your life. You are not the mind and you are not the body. Your life is a gift and even your idea of self is false.
King Baldwin IV 😢
One of the best Philosophy Quotes with deep meaning.
Wise words that the Nazis and their supporters failed to observe… “Your soul is in your keeping alone.” 🙏
"No one can lose either the past or the future - how could anyone be deprived of what he does not possess? ... It is only the present moment of which either stands to be deprived: and if this is all he has, he cannot lose what he does not have." -Marcus Aurelius
Kingdom of Heaven is a terrific movie. I think people have came round to it more in recent years.
When we all stand before God, we're on our own
True either we stand before him with our own good works and righteousness or under the righteousness of Christ in our place. I’d hate to stand before God and think i did enough good works to get into heaven, salvation is free through Jesus but it’s so hard for us to accept it bc we want to earn what we get. I think that’s why so few are on the narrow path bc it’s not about being perfect but submitting you aren’t and need a savior bc keeping the law is impossible unless you’re God
@@jon_durhamThis is not true, Jesus tells us to be perfect and keep the law. Find me one verse that says we can't keep the law.
@@cybersubstudioz1261the entire New Testament bro. It’s literally the whole reason Jesus sacrificed himself.
Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
how about making our self accountable now and always, not because of a judgement of hypothetical entity, but because of our own and each other self respect?
one of my fav things in movies or tv is when the protagonist set out to conquer the whole world and in the end figured that none of this mattered ......they were happy when they had little
This has shaped me more than i could have ever thought!!!
JESUS CHRIST IS KING
One of the greatest men in history to ever hold the title of a king!
imho he expired too soon to be called the greatest. If you really want the greatest, at least in medieval times, check Frederick II
@@albe8479 could argue the point; we can see what Baldwin achieved in such short time at a young age, imagine what would of come if he had lived a longer life
A King to die for, sword in hand!
Then you didn't listen to what he said
@@desotaku5202 actually, i did. He is not saying you should do what you want, regardless of everyone else. He is saying that whatever path you follow, you have to do it by your convictions. Only an honest ruler can say such a thing, because he does not expect people to follow him blindly, but to do it because they believe the same as he. That, ironically, is what generates true loyalty.
“A king may move a man but the soul belongs to the man” 🔥
Both portraits of Baldwin and salahudin where amazing in this film..the quote from salahudin ..do not shed blood brothers.. because blood never sleeps ..is one of the greater IV heard in movies
Serve your country, but at the end, remember who you're serving first.
country?
Such an under rated movie. Still sticks with me to this day.
Whenever I feel like I’m having mental depression or sad I always come to this legendary short clip and it ALWAYS raises my spirits and something inside me just says” You got this keep soldiering on” as a Hindu I respect this man if I ever get to time travel I’ll bow down to this man and possibly give him a hug and thank him for saving me
Always be ready for Heaven 🕊️ Always be prepared to meet your maker 🕊️ Do not leave any sin without repentance 🕊️ Allow grace to move you to the smallest virtue
This movie was amazing
What’s the name?

Liam neesan set such a good tone for Orlando Bloom and the story. With a good start the movie proceeds to be just simply spectacular from beginning to end. Without that beginning i think this movie is still good but doesn't have the deeper meaning that Liam brought to it.
Well said them words of wisdom.
I like how the kids lips tremble when he heard that excuses will not work with God
Never let anyone tell you what to do if you dont want to.

Thanks dude! I was hoping to see this.
