I see you've got boots on like for fly fishing. Do you wear waterproof socks? Waders or just regular pants? I'm trying to keep my feet dry in a Sea Eagle FPB 285
+Gary Z I seldom wear boots and waders while in my PackFish7...i happened to be wearing them by chance when making this video (in retrospect, I probably put my waders on to protect myself from ticks, since I had to walk through some tall grass)...I will normally wear crocs or sandals...it's just too hot in the summer... I will probably wear my waders more often when the fall season hits...
Seat takes less than 10 seconds... You don't even need the foot pump... U can use two to three large breaths and its done... I've never timed myself pumping up the packfish7, but I can't imagine it taking more than 7 min...
This was the first outing on the packfish... U r right, I did hit my knees with the paddles initially... But once I got the hang of it, it became second nature and it wasn't a problem...
+mukibetzer if u r talking about the straps that go on the bottom of the boat, u have to order those separately from sea eagle or buy some generic ones. I didn't buy them because I carry everything in the backpack provided by sea eagle and then inflate the boat once I get to my launch destination. Once the boat is inflated, I just tuck the backpack behind the seat. Simple.
Have you tried? U'd be surprised how comfortable the air filled seat is... This is actually more comfortable than my kayak, and I have a pretty high end kayak (the native slayer propel 13 with pedal drive)... Yes, ure legs can get crampy if sitting for a long time, but I stand and stretch my legs... Don't knock it until you try it!
Cool little boat. I'm getting one soon. Thanks for the video.
I'm happy with my purchase...

How long does it take to inflate the boat and the seat please?

Fishin' In Scrubs excellent! Thank you for the quick reply!
Definitely not allowed to park there
You look a little big for that little boat. You knee looked to be hitting the paddles...

Where did you get the floor board from?
+Brandon Knight it's an option from sea eagle...
Fishin' In Scrubs is it worth it?
+Brandon Knight for me yes...you can stand on it and it adds rigidity to the boat and makes it more stable...
Fishin' In Scrubs thanks man. I'm going to order one
very uncomfortable position for fishing.sorry, but you have to be very fit to enjoy this boat.
