The video at the beginning! Those unique buildings! Wow. That sure caught my attention! And that tower! And I kept asking myself "where is this"? As it looked so exotic! And then GIZA! THE PYRAMIDS!! i had no idea that Egypt had so many unique buildings besides the historic stuff. So I certainly learned something! And I also learned that sketchbooks can also be scrapbooks too! And you are so very creative too! 😊 Lately I have been doing more art after years and years of none. So its a big change. And I am trying different mediums too. Having fun. So i have been watching lots of these art videos, sketchbook tours, various how to art videos, etc.

The one drawing you did of the girl with white only for eyes and the hands on the sides of her face pressing in. You talked about how you didn’t feel like they were anatomically correct. When I kept looking at the picture I honestly thought they looked like someone else’s hands pressing in on her face .symbolizing to me outside pressures and stress and the kind just feeling scattered. But yes the hands to me look lovely :))
I’m in an artblock rn and the gaslighting into thinking ur over it is sooo relatable. I’ll draw a single little scribble after a month of just staring at the page every time I open my sketchbook, and be like “OMG ITS OVER” and then not draw for another 2 weeks 😭😭😭 and the first 50 pages of my sketchbook went by in barely 2 months

Quick question: how do you layout your sketchbook spreads in such a way that’s different and unique each time, and also, how do you know where to put stickers and layer papers together to get that aesthetic look?

I'm a bit confused that you said 'because I've stopped using this sketchbook [and gone to the smaller one] you can't do big sketches anymore.' Is there a reason you can't just have two sketchbooks of different sizes running parallel and just work large when you feel like it? Why not number the larger sketchbooks as 1B, 2B etc to show they're secondary. They you could have a large one running alongside multiple smaller sketchbooks. As long as you date them you'd still keep them 'in order'. Love the large portrait btw, I enjoy your larger sketches a lot.
