I use a vise grip to squeeze the tube shut. Only light pressure is needed. Dude, it took an hour searching to find this video on my lawn more. DeWalt's 33" is the new Cub Cadet.
I know you no longer have this mower, but you can buy a inline fuel shutoff valve kit at lowes for $11. I have a wood chipper and cyclone rake that dont see much use so I tryin run the carbs dry between uses.
I've had my CC800 for almost 3 years now and the only complaint I have is how bad it is at mulching. Even with some nice mulching blades it's awful. I'm out in my yard with a rake cleaning up clippings.
I agree with you. I have a Honda 21" also and it mulches great. I bought for mulching blades for my CC800 but it is not the same. I was wondering if there were better blades.
Wondering if the bagger makes it that the extra clippings don’t end back up on the lawn. I’m getting ready to punt if the bagger doesn’t help. Don’t want to throw hard earned money away.
Hey brother I have the 28” cut and there are hardly any videos on UA-cam or on the Internet to show how to do proper maintenance, is it about the same?!
@troy_bernauer Well, perhaps you could put the time stamp in your reply because I wasted time watching the whole thing again. Removing the air filter cover is one thing, but taking the actual air filter off is something else. Does it unscrew, pull off, or what? I tried removing mine, and it is very stubborn. It is wedged between 2 metal pillars of sorts. I didn't want to break anything, I just want to get it off. I normally use an air compressor to blow out anything on the air filter the first time before replacing it. This gives some additional life to it before actually changing it out. So where did show changing the air filter?
@@sisqokid7978 1:39 brother... no reason to be an ass. Made the video to help people. Cant help you if you dont watch. If yours is stuck dont know what to tell you. Lift up and it comes right out. No explanation needed for it.

Yeaaahhh… sadly no one made videos on the machine even when I had it. I would love to try dewalt version! We use a 36 stander now.
@tjequipmentrental Which stander did you get and why did you pick that brand?
Great video bro. I just bought one and was wondering how to do all of that!
Appreciate the words!! Good luck with it✊🏼

Next time clamp your hose leading from tank with the locking pliers or a strong enough clamp. Cub is hanging on in there.
Thought about that after I did it haha
@@tbytchannel1 Gotcha💪🏽
So every time that I start it, the red light comes on to say "change oil." How do you reset this so that this doesn't happen?

Hey man how’d you remove your chute? I swear I saw it in another on of your videos with just the chute blocker on and no long a$$ chute sticking out.

Wish I could tell you... I know nothing on the 28in model. Sorry!
@@tbytchannel1 it’s all good man!! I’m learning !!
