Man, I’m so torn. So, I’ve run my own business. I used Scag ZT and Toro Recycler. I’ve had Cub Cadet tractors in the past. Right now, my own property is about 1.5 acres with some slopes. I use the Toro with Striper. Looks beautiful. But man, takes me so long. I double cut. Double lines. I’m selling the Scag and don’t have the business anymore. I may again some day. I love it. So for now, I’ve been going back and forth on getting this mower. I know for sure I want a wide deck self propelled. And I’ll need a tractor/ZT for bigger areas and attatchments like aerators. I bet I’ve reviewed and watched videos on the CC cc900, CC cc800, Troy Bilt 28” self propelled everyday for over a week several hours a day. Still can’t make my mind up. I watched your POV video. Looks like releasing and pulling the transmission engage lever over and over would be annoying. And it seems this mower would be best for only flat areas. I don’t know man! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Be nice if sthil would just simply add that access panel on the 800 for the valve cover to the 600/700. Maybe design a access panel aswell for the area around the primer bulb. Love my BR700

You forgot to mention to the viewers what the arrow (>) means, that is stamped on the fuel filter. If the filter is installed with the arrow pointing away from the engine, there will be no gas flow. That can cause a lot of headaches to the one's who haven't changed a filter before.

Bought this model brand new and couldn’t finish a small job, chain keeps coming off so I even bought a new bar and chain and have the same problem

Just bought one for $100 on craigslist looked like the day it was built perfect condition he had it 2 years the reason he put it up for sale he bought a large John Deere Zero turn it wasn't preforming like it did behind his tractor the company goes back to the 1839 - it looks to be quality to me - maybe he had the problem you had the product settles to the rear or the hopper i'm very please with it , i have a John Deere LX255

Well the one nice thing about the battery being exposed is the fact it won’t gather moisture and debris as much as the John Deere does, the z always gathers wet grass and stuff when you wash it in the battery tray and compartment.

Where would you recommend i buy all of the required items for maintenance and i am not paying a ton

I heard the 700s have an issue where basically after a certain number of hours and use on the machine they will just stop and die out. It’s some kind of electrical part that cant be replaced or something along those lines not sure the specifics but my boss explained it to me one day. Still awesome blowers and last a long time. But eventually they die out and you can’t rebuilt them is the issue with them. Other stihl units last forever and u can keep them alive

I have one of those, and it is indeed a great cutter! For a limber/trimmer size it is more than worth the price.

I know this is an old review, and I watched your video about selling it. I have a question, or maybe need clarification; you made a quick mention about it not being good for mulching leaves. Did you ever change your mind on that? The tranny on my 2006 Honda HRX has given out. The motor is still great but I'm thinking about getting a larger deck push mower as I like the wider stripes. I didn't know Cub made this mower until your video hit my feed, so thank you. We have a local Cub dealer, and a local Scag dealer. I've looked at the Toro TimeMaster but haven't pulled the trigger as this is going to be a big expense. Toro dealer offered a demo unit if I wanted to cut my yard to see how it does. I'm really interested in being able to mulch the leaves as we have several trees in the backyard and the longer I can put off raking, the better. Thank you.

2nd gear is to slow 3rd is to fast walk pace, even the 800cc needs more power for taller grass and shoot clogs easily

I have that exact same toro aerator. Works great when it's running.. But I must say it's a piece of crap to work on. Just to change the hydraulic belts is insanely difficult to do. This machine is not user-friendly at all when it comes to maintenance. All the parts are insanely expensive. Cheers from Paul in australia
