Thanks for the post and the amazing views of the battlefield and the information boards. I live in the UK and have never been able to visit the site so I much appreciate you sharing your visit.
Wow thanks guy's, that's amazing 👏 well done, love it ❤❤❤ ,I'm from Manchester UK 🇬🇧 and mum worked for Airfix ,would bring me a weekly 🎁 present, a tank ,a platoon , an aircraft or ship 🚢, had British USA 🇺🇸 Russian, German plus Africa Corp, Japanese Italian soldiers!! ❤❤❤❤ cheers 🍻 from Australia 🇦🇺 😊
Awesome looking shop the peg wall looks like a 54mm plastic collector's dream could spend hrs in there for sure! Like that Fort Apache diorama/set up : )
I'm 66, I have bought several different Civil War sets for my Grandson. He has plenty of Infintry and Artillery, neither side has much in the way of Cavalry, at least mounted Cavalry. I have some Custer and dismounted Union Cavalry and then some dismounted Confederate Cavalry. In Union infintry I have Dark Blue, Light Blue, Green Irish Brigade, and 20 Iron Brigade. In Confederate Grey and Butternut. Number of Artillery is even, but the Union has 5 Gatling Guns. Actually, my Grandson has developed a, unique play pattern. He has access to my Huge Western Collection and 2 movies of mine has sparked this; Cavalry Charge with Ronald Reagan, and Major Dundee with Charlton Heston. In Cavalry Charge there were Union, Confederate, and Cowboys vs. Indians near the end. In Major Dundee, it's also a combination of Union, Confederate, and a few Cowboys against Indians and the Mexican Army. My Grandson took this to make his Union, Confederate, and Cowboys fighting Indians allied with the Mexican Army! He also had me get him some Alamo soldiers for this! He also reasoned he could also maybe use the Mexican Army as the French if he ever wanted to do that. He's a surprising little dude for an 8 year old!
Nice look see at Mr John's (a lot of space for more inventory). Awesome video of little round top. Restoration of the area looks wonderful. Great video and very informative on all counts. Thanks Bill
I've purchased many things from the shop and visited last summer. Unfortunately, the diorama room was closed the day I visited but still enjoyed shopping! Gettysburg is a great town to visit with much to do even if you don't visit the battlefield.
In the 60s we would get 12 inch, historical figures, I had Henry the 8th,Joan of arc, the Black Knight, Napoleon, Royal Guard Beef Eater etc ,and during winter with bad weather we be indoors alot and hand painted them ,❤❤❤❤😂 😊
Impressive shop and diorama! Planning to visit Little Round Top in a few weeks and will definitely stop by this toy soldier shop. I’m a Marx collector and notice the play sets and associated buildings. I’m sure the prices are high but can you bargain with the owner or are his prices are set in stone?
Can anyone help me? I've been looking for a set of pirates made in Italy. I think the company is called Xyloplasto soldatini epocha, something like that!. The figures were very detailed sculpts and painting was first rate! Unfortunately for me my mother threw them out when I wasn't home. Mom's are like that, and wives carry on the tradition! Regards, Andy, Annmarie's husband.
Hey Bill, did you know that the Trump campaign is running ads during your videos on the UA-cam feed? Don't know that you can do anything about it but I thought you should know.
Who cares... there are plenty of Biden ads running all over as well... Being a military vet myself (Army), I was just checking out this video out, as it looked interesting.. and saw in the comments this goofball worried about a Trump ad... unreal.

Well ,military related UA-cam videos are more likely to appeal to conservatives. Lots of liberals generally hate military related stuff and subjects.
