How in the hell does this channel not have at least 100k. This is by far the best GTR build on youtube (including all R32,33 and 34s), tommy fyeah looks like a tech school student compared to what you are doing. Man hope you get the appreciation you deserve
Hey man. Yeah I thought about that for sure. But it was my fault the belt was slightly to big and was a bit loose. Had it on the to do list. But electric pwr steeer is sick.
Really unfortunate but not the first time I've seen the power steer belt cause issues on a gtr. Please update us on the throttle seal situation in due course as I'm about to fit a Dahtone kit to my gtr. Best of luck with the new turbo
The dahtone racing kit is the best thing I’ve ever done. Throttle response is amazing and the operation on the itbs has never been quicker. No issues with the seals once I glued them in with a very small amount of retaining compound

Man that engine did plenty of time with no oil pressure. The ignition was cut obviously but it span over heaps, surely you would pop off the rod caps at least to be sure.
Time to put an electric power steering pump in it so that this can never happen again

Toyota electric power steering motor on the steering column and a manualized rack might be the way to go if you keep throwing belts.
