He’s incredible, he trusts you so much and you can see the relief in his eyes.. thank you for being exactly what he needed. Also his manicure isn’t the only one on point!
To really put into perspective how much this bird trusts her, usually they need their face partially covered with an owner they trust. She not only is trimming, but sticking fingers in without it biting. This is a very vulnerable position, being on their back. It's comforted by the compression of the towel, but you can see he isn't swaddled heavily like you normally need to. He's probably in a lot of pain from a bad diet. You can also see him self soothe by biting the towel.
Aww, I'm so glad he was handed over to you. You gave him such a spa day and so much care in the last video. You could see that he needed and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to seeing more updates. He is already looking better.
Aw sweet baby, it's so sad seeing birds in such awful condition, I'm so glad he now has someone who can properly take care of him. Getting away from a seed diet is so very important, I didn't know this till recently, my two budgies at 3 years old were developing issues indicating liver problems, thankfully the vet said it's not too late, and they're already looking so much better after several months on pellets!
So awesome you had a vet that could help! I love birds, but I’m far too worried about how finicky their health is to get one of my own. Also I have a cat. So. You know. 😂 So happy for you and your budgies!! ❤
It's always so upsetting seeing parrots who can't close or move their beaks properly! It was wonderful to witness that range of motion being restored, thanks for sharing. I look forward to future updates on Paco!
I literally just watched the original video and opened your channel to see more of Paco-ONLY TO SEE AN UPLOAD FROM FIVE MINUTES AGO! I’m so lucky, what a great start to 2025❤ Edit: Oh, Paco, you’ve been through so much😢. But now you’re with the best human you could ever be with xoxo. Enjoy your golden years Paco🎉❤ (Can we see his bath🥹🙏❤️?)
I'm so happy to hear he's coming to live with you!! Everyone can see how comfortable he is with you, and he deserves all the proper care that you can provide for him.
Whenever youre working on Paco's feet and he gently grips the towel with his beak for comfort... My heart melts so much it almost hurts. Im glad Paco is in your gentle hands. He seems to really appreciate some TLC.
THIS BABY IS SO TRUSTING AND PRECIOUS... 😭 He would be within his rights to hate humans forever. But he just wants to be loved!!! 🥺 Thank you for giving this baby his happily ever after... 🥹
sweet boy! i wish my elderly cats understood that grooming is good for them. paco's intelligence really shines through while you work on his little callouses with the rotary tool! he's totally fine with you getting close to sore or sensitive spots because he knows you mean well, and that's so profound.
What a joy it is to see Paco relax in your gentle hands, and to know that he will now enjoy proper, tender care, hopefully for the rest of his days. May you grow old together in loving relationship!
Poor baby! To be in such a poor position so fast again. And to see that rusty carrier again was not a good sign that they were taking better care of him. Glad he's in safe hands now. ❤
It sounds like they inherited him so they probably really didn't know what they were doing but at least they knew that things couldn't keep going the way they were
I’m honestly really happy that there isn’t a lot of toxicity in these comments. It’s sad the bird’s condition, yes, but his humans seemed to give it their all, and once they realized it wasn’t working out, made the decision to give him to someone who could care for him better. As ash(person before me) said, if he really was inherited, it was probably a really hard decision to let him go. The owners could have done better, yes, but I’m proud of them for coming onto the decision of doing what’s best for the bird. :)
What a bittersweet moment. I’m happy he is now with a home that can and will care for him properly, but I am bummed his previous home couldn’t handle him or care for him properly.
You could tell from his first visit he really trusts you. Please post more videos of your birds. Especially keep us up to date with his health. Can’t wait to see how he improves with your care.
This poor bird, it's clear he's in bad health overall. I'm glad Paco got away from his captors and is now with a capable and knowledgeable carer who can meet his needs. ❤❤❤❤❤
I am extremely happy that precious Paco is now part of your family! I am sure that your pet, rest in peace, wants you to be happy, and Paco led his way into your heart. Poor Paco, he definitely wasn't care for and needs to see a vet asap. You did a wonderful job with his beak and nails. Thank you for giving us an update and educating. I hope his liver can be recovered. Can wait for the next update.
My goodness. I am glad that he had finally found his forever home :-) happy new year to you and thank you for becoming Paco’s caretaker. I hope you two will have a long wonderful time together. He is a tired little soul as you said in the first video and I think he found the best possible human for him :-)
He looks so happy after the beak and nail trim 😊 You can really tell that he already feels much better! He knows he’s being taken well care of 🥹❤️ I’m so glad to see him again! I hope we get to see more of him from now on!! 🥰❤️
I really want to see the bath! It's sad that his owners were not able to adequately care for him and correct the problems of the previous owners. I hope you can now give him the amount of care he needs.
God bless your heart…He looked very comfortable and trusting during the process and even in the previous time he visited. He’s such a precious cute little bean. I hope he lives a well rest of his life with you and under your care💕
😭 I'm so happy to see him again and learn that at least he's alive. I was mortified after the initial video and seeing it had been uploaded a long time ago 🙏🏻 Please keep us updated on his progress and perhaps let us know if he starts making noises ❤
At least his new owners eventually figured out that they where in over their heads. Its ine of the real dangers of having an animal that will outlive you. Your need to find someone who is able and willing to take them on who knows what they are doing, a parrot is a lot of work and a lot of people truly dont know what they are getting into when they get one on purpose let alone when they inherit one from a family member
I ❤him. There isn’t a week I don’t mention him to someone. Both videos are in our grey parrots daily entertainment videos along with cartoons and old music and lots of grey parrots.
Birds normally spend a lot of time grooming their beaks, including wearing down the edge to suit their diet and lifestyle (and comfort). Why does not Paco do this? Did he not have the opportunity? Looking forward to seing how he develops now that he will get the necessary "tools" made available to him!
if the bird doesnt have the right tools (like a very small enclosure with no objects beyond a perch) then it won't have the means to rub it's beak. need to rub it regularly on things like twigs to clean ti during eating, and needs things to chew on.
@@UrokLizard Exactly. I used to provide some abrasive stones to my birds (when I kept birds) so they could maintain their beaks. They spent a lot of time wearing down those stones.
I’m very interested to see how he improves. I bet that once you get bloodwork back it will show he needs a nutritional overhaul. The prior owner must not have known how to feed a parrot.
🇮🇩🧩 True, smaller and older animals are risky to anesthesia. They may not waking up or stopped breathing. Keratin doesn't hurt, it's like doing a pedicure 😊
Birds are also a species that even young healthy ones going under anesthesia is very dangerous, just the way their lungs work makes it incredibly difficult

So the people who inherited him got his beak trimmed and then just let him deteriorate again. Glad he’s staying with you
Please, update us on how Paco is doing. I've already seen his bath video, he's such a gentle soul. I would love to see more of his journey.
Aww, I'm so glad he was handed over to you. You gave him such a spa day and so much care in the last video. You could see that he needed and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to seeing more updates. He is already looking better.

Bless you for your work. I'm so glad there are people like you caring for them. My dream is to make an NFPO to rescue and care for birds of any kind.
Thank you so much, and I hope your rescue dream comes true. Theres so many that need a soft place to land
Never realized birds need this level of care, thank you for showing us.
Oh, that poor little dude trusts you _implicitly_ just by how he's letting you handle him. May his life have more joy than he's ever known before.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for loving and rescuing him

Im so glad we got an update on paco, hes such a precious boy im glad he’s doing better
Paco is meant for you. Just look at how calm he is. Most parrots would need to be heavily restrained for this
Paco sure don't mind getting spoiled.
