    • @Richard-gw2lr

Kyle will never admit especially to himself any of his wrongs. His whole life he has been told how amazing he is, from his dad's to his employers. Everyone blows smoke up his ass. You think he will admit the Falcons lost because his decisions were bad? Or the first SF superbow was lost because of him? Same with this prior years loss. He thinks throwing the ball when you are ahead is the best decision so you can pull ahead more. Don't run the ball to kill the clock, give your defense rest time, put the game on 1 persons shoulders. Commen sense tells you to run the ball 2 scores ahead. Especially when they are what got the points in the first place. Kyle's problem is he wants to be know for having this high flying bad ass 200yd deep passes. Instead his teams are built off the run. It's the backbone of his offenses. If the run game isn't working they are going to lose. Kyle can't admit that.

@Richard-gw2lr I see much of Mike Martz in him. Lots of arrogance, smarmy, devoid of true emotional connections to his players (except for the Cabo Crew - because they make him look "hip hop culture cool")...my final words: an emotionally immature man can not lead anyone. I know, I was an emotionally immature man for a long time. When you make the changes in self, then ppl start to take you seriously (but you have to become your own mature adult, take responsibility for your failures as much as your success, and be avaliable and willing to change, adapt and let go of baggage (Deebo, Juice, etc) that does not serve in a positive way.

I heard Jonnydel make a good point that it’s not that the plays themselves are different cuz everyone runs the same stuff for the most part, it’s that they don’t rep the plays in practice as much cuz they use their time focusing on the run and PA stuff. They need to prioritize the OL and drop back game this off season for sure

@@Shredsofeden First off I'm not a "tough guy", I'm a longtime fan who knows how hard winning in this league is.
Do you realize this is a multi-billion dollar industry that has 31 other franchises, all of whom want to win just as bad as we do?
it's like some of our fans think it's their birthright to have SB rings delivered.
Shanahan has flaws, and I'll be the first to admit it. He's going to need to reinvent our offense to some degree this offseason.
That said, what he and Lynch have built is nothing short of phenomenal. The consistency this team has in making deep playoff runs is insane.............. with Jimmy freaking G and a 7th-round draft pick at QB.
You're quick to point out all the things you feel Shanahan does wrong (and that's fair) but you don't even touch on all the things he does right....... that have led us to 4 of the last 5 NFCCGs and 2 SBs. You think that happened magically? That's Shanahan who did that. Shanahan and Lynch. He deserves a chance to grow and become better just like players do. He just turned 45. Do you realize how young that is?
This last Februrary, he was coaching in OT of a Super Bowl. We have a down year because we've been riddled with key injuries, and now he's a stubborn mule who can do no right?
If winning SBs was so easy, why has no team since 2018, with the sole exception of the '21 Rams (once), done it who didn't have Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes as their QB? Other than the 2021 Rams, every other ring was won by those two QBs.
It's really hard to win SBs in the modern NFL. Not sure what else to say.

This is the best diagnosis of the 49er offense I’ve heard this year. The top teams now have speed and really good offensive lines. This is what happens : defenses figure out offenses and then OC’s need to reinvent their schemes and personnel to out scheme defenses. Also it would be wonderful if Shanahan would value Special Teams as an equal to Offense and Defense. When was the last time the 49ers ST’s made any kind of a positive significant contribution ?

Ownership is ass-backwards. Instead of encouraging players like saying, "If you" and then put an incentive behind it, they're deciding to pay these selfish players up front and waiting for results later to happen. That result was a costly injury. Now you're on the hook for damaged goods.
How are they going to encourage players to play for something to stride for? Now if they won the SB, then it makes more sense to pay the guy and then keep them around for the next run at another championship. The minute Aiyuk listened and got onboard with his own GF's ranting, it changed his mindset and created a huge disruption and distraction from the ultimate goal and that is to get back to the SB and try to win it again. That selfish gesture created the bad karma and only amplified the bad vibes coming from that SB loss. Team should have traded his ass and shipped him off to another team. The season and goal to get back to SB and this time try to win it did not revolve around this guy.
As for Coach Shanahan, if he is the offensive guru that everyone is talking about, then we can only imagine that his offensive schemes should work for any player he plugs in there. I don't see this happening from game to game.
As for our next NFL draft, move-up to the top 15, grab that OT Jonah Savaiinaea from Arizona, use the 2nd pick on either a 2nd OL, DT/DE or more importantly, a CB. Once you get 3 players that have been scouted well, this should help the team get back on the right track. Sign a FA WR if you need some speed for plays that require someone running downfield or even breaking away from defenders on crossing-routes.
Bring back stability to the defensive side. The Sorensen experiment has to end at season's end. Bring back Sully if possible and allow him to reinforce the morale on the defensive side. He is the leader that the defense will play for.
If the team wants to shore-up that DE position, they should look into replicating their own strategy when they used to sign older, veteran DE's who were in their mid-late 30s. Khalil Mack sounds like a solid pick here.

I said that some months ago. The NFL has some very sharp defensive minds and, clearly, have already figured out how to defend against Shanahan’s offense. His stubborn reluctance to changing his play schemes has cost the team. Not sure how you can get it through to him that his offensive tactics are no longer fruitful and need a major overhaul.

There are lot of issues at play here.
    1. The OL, Kyle favours Olineman who are better at run blocking than pass protection. But Kyle abandons his gameplan too often which exposes the players pass blocking deficiencies.
    2. Too many holdouts (CMC, Trent, Aiyuk). All of them are injured now.
    3. Teams know what the 49ers strengths are so they gameplan. Kyle is too stubborn to adjust his philosophy. He needs an OC to run the offense and a DC to run the defense.

It was(is) very evident that most of these teams have caught on with his play calling. Offensive line is trash, other than Puni. No receiver seperation. And as much as I like Brack, and think he is a very good QB, he isn't good enough to elevate his players when things get tough. I wouldn't give up on him at all but they must address their OL and get some spped at WR.

Coming into the season when players are saying things like "you have to climb the mountain again" or "It's a long year" you could tell it was the wrong mindset. They all figured they could get healthy and then they'd be able to find that next gear again late in the season but it just didn't happen. It was too late.

Instead of "reinvent" himself, Shanahan needs to evolve his offensive scheme into the new NFL offensive culture. Passing game is what teams are require to win games and run games is just to sustain the lead at scoreboard.

I haven’t heard better advice on how the Niners can get past this season and get back to their dominant form. The injuries were the biggest problem this year. But the way shanahan handled the play calling and the personnel decisions was just lacking in nuance and creativity that was what made them the team they were in past seasons. This whole year was just an example of what a burnt out coach looks like when he’s trying to manage the team.
I really hope he can get his shit together and bring something new to the table next year to make things more productive and elevated on the field for the players to execute

I believe that Kyle will promote or bring in an offensive coordinator in the vein of Mike McDaniel.
As far as defensive coordinator, there are 2 schools of thought. 1) bring in someone like Robert Saleh. Or 2) let Sorenson develop as a defensive play caller. Robert and Demeco both had trouble their first year but grew exponentially in year 2. We have a proven track record of developing coaching talent. I know that Nick’s inexperience has been an issue this year

The Niners have been a power-running offense for the past 6 years with solid defense considered to be the best or near the top of all NFL teams. If your going to “reinvent” this team basic scheme and strategies the first thing you have to do is identify what are the reasons that have caused the failure this year. I think more than anything else is the quality of both the offensive and defensive lines, especially the offense. The second is the injuries and aging of certain players.

It has amazed me that over the last 7 yrs Shanahan has not been able to draft and develop a really good QB . He coached one side of the college North VS South or whatever its called and Mahomes was the opposing QB - where Shanahan got an up close view of Mahomes, who played well and displayed some of the traits that he now excels in and Shanahan could have drafted him that year. The best QB drafted by the 49ers has been Purdy- and thats because another coach on the team recommended him and what the heck not much to lose because its the last pick in the draft.

He always makes excuses for them but rants like today..never mind the fact that he has access to the players and coaches yet RARELY brings up the topics like in this video to them!😡🙄

I’ve told my friends this aswell that Kyle relies to much on play action, and run after catch, great concepts and playcaller but there drop back game is there weakness, BUT it is kinda a rebuild year every team has there 2-3 year before injuries trades and just defense evolving to how you play and u have to rebuild and unless u got a top 5 quarterback who can do more w less you’ll have seasons like this
