From the paper I read on the BYU website (it was a thesis paper by one of the BYU students), Young's reaction wasn't even to be upset. The Bishop asked Young to come down and inform the congregation that the Bishop was in the right, but all Young did was send a letter to the Bishop telling him to "let it blow over".

But like the thousands of other embarrassing and inconvenient elements of the history of "the Church," this too can be justified, rationalized, denied, or simply ignored. After all, anything that doesn't lavish praise on "the Church" and its leaders can simply be categorized as "the work of the adversary," and that will put an immediate halt to any further exploration or discussion involving most "active" members of "the Church." It worked then, and it's still working today.
Ive never heard this story, I have no Idea if it is true or not, but I do know that her home teachers couldn't have come by to try to convince the young woman, because there were no home teachers in the 1800s. Home teaching was introduced in the 1960's. It replaced ward teachers, but even that wasn't a thing until the early 1900s.I know thats not the point, but when one tells a story like this with errors like that, it can cast doudt on its overall accuracy. Especially if one is trying to convince a sceptical audience. If this did happen,it was terribly, awfully wrong, but it should be told as accurately as posible. I have slso found that it is impossible to find any religion that doesn't have a troubled past with skeletons in it's closets. So if one wishes to be religious, and is searching for a religious organization that has none as a requisite for belief or membership, Good Luck.!
I have one that was and is perfect. Follow Jesus Christ who was the only physical person who was perfect. Jesus Christ has never made a mistake and created everything. No religion. No denomination. No man made rules. No satanic design. Only love and salvation. God Bless you 🙏♥️👍
Does it make you mad that old men lust after young women or that you can't copulate with a teenager like crusty old Joe did?? Is it mad or jealous? I can't tell which

Never heard this story before. Not sure of it's authenticity. If true I feel terrible for the young man and woman and this Snow guy will go to Hell. I have to ask what is the point of the telling? Are you trying to prove the LDS church isn't God's Church because a Bishop did a despicable thing? No member of God's Church is without sin. The LDS Church is still Christ's Church.
By this standard, Joe could he an adulterer and pedophile and that sits well with you. This scenario makes you a large part of the problem. Adultery and molesting children were never godly attributes
All you do is find random, rare instances and do a video on them. You don't focus on any of the good that people do. We get it, some people can be crazy and do things that aren't good, but that isn't the entire group of people, and all your videos focus on is negative.

@@Ralph419 Thanks! UA-cam banned me for a day for trying to post a link to it. But that was the paper.

Is this chick on a roll or what? I can barely keep up with all of her videos. They're coming by the hour!
And I'm glad they are. She's done more research in a week than most "active" members do in a lifetime.@@mylesmarkson1686
