Phil, you just answered so many of my questions about my first real chainsaw. Well made video sir. I know I will get a Stihl, and I know exactly which one will be my first. Thank you so much.
Great video! I own 60 acers and a chainsaw is a must. I has a 51cc cheap one and always having reliability problems i bought the m18 milwaukee i like it as a truck chainsaw but to be switching batteries and charging them is unconvenient. I told my self to just buy a good name brand and spend the money. This helps me a lot.
Great video! I really appreciated the breakdown of different chainsaw types and how you highlighted the importance of choosing the right one based on usage and tasks. The chart you mentioned is super helpful for visualizing what might work best for different needs. Have you had any personal experiences with battery saws in larger jobs? I'd love to hear more about that!
Here in Te Awamutu most of us sleep with the MS180. There are the odd few men who like to wake up beside the MS660 but most find them too noisy and dominating.
I use a saw all day most days stihl of course only use the smallest and lightest you can get away with .12"bar good enough for 16" logs and my msa200 battery saw goes with my chipper
I’m New to chainsaw World, but I was given a chainsaw and want to know If they make a pole that I can attach my current chainsaw to? I don’t want to Buy a second chainsaw (pole saw) but be nice to have a pole to attach my current saw to for the occasional use..
Right chainsaw for the job is the biggest chainsaw you can afford of smallest chainsaw that will run a 28 inch or 32 inch bar. Nothing like standing up while you cut logs on the ground. And a top handle saw gas or battery.
I want either a M260 C or a M261 made in either Germany or U.S. and nobody wants to take my money. The M261 needs to NOT have the M-Tronics but a normally adjustable carb. Can anyone in NZ ship one across the 'ditch'? Or does the customer now need to only take what's on offer according to where they live?
Yeah don't buy the extended warranty. Atleast in the states, anything that breaks past the first year is not supported. One ever get another product from them
