I think I will stick with Premier Inn for my pre cruise evening stays. The bathroom is enough to put me off :-) As you say though, it is a good location if you are arriving by train.
For one night, clean is more important than anything else. I can ignore most anything if it's quiet and clean. 95 pounds seems a bit steep for a "budget hotel" but I suppose time of year dictates the price range.
First time I have ever seen a bath in an Ibis hotel. I have stayed in loads of them in numerous countries but I hate the fact that they only have showers. I wonder what makes this one special?
